This generation of fighters just seem extremely difficult to deal with. They all have giant ego's and carry on like teenage girls on social media.

 

So we were led to believe Teo was happy to fight Boots at 147 but won't with Haney? That is why I said he was always clout chasing with Boots. Teo is a total clown.

 

No it’s probably because he is unhappy with the money being offered. The money being offered for Haney is less than what he was offered to fight “Boots” Ennis.

For a little bit context - Teo has been complaining about money since 2020. He almost talked his way out of the Loma fight back then.
And I am pretty sure that Teo has turned down at least one fight since, because he was not happy with the money.

 

I used to be an avid Haney hater and still think he's a couple steps below elite but his chin isn't china, and I think he proved as much against Ryan. He has a shaky chin of course, and gets wobbled fairly easily but if his chin were as abysmal as many make it out to be, then he wouldn't have got up from each Ryan left hook (and regardless of what anyone might think about the ostarine test, Ryan's left hook has always been one of the snappiest and most electric punches in the sport), and he would have been at least gone down if not out against Linares and Loma when he got hit clean. Haney has more heart than he's given credit for imo and doesn't have bad recovery either.

 

Very interesting match, in my opinion an elusive fighter with a very good footwork like Haney can create problems to Lopez. I hope Teofimo wins but style make fight, Haney by close UD
