LeDoux was much worse than Ruiz.

I mean even if all of those things are true Garcia, LeDoux and Shavers are guys we’ve seen on Norton’s level or surpassing it… Ruiz vs Chris A, I honestly haven’t seen anything post AJ 2 bar Ortiz he disappointed me so immensely so I’ll take your word for it but I think we’ve seen the last of a capable Ruiz after he won / lost the title also Parker has an awesome chin, no shame.

I think Ruiz lost one round to Arreola. The guy is pushing an agenda.

Ruiz at his best used steady pressure to make Joshua, Hammer, and Dimitrenko quit. I think he also beat the crap out of Hanks.

Norton might actually quit if he doesn’t get stopped cold.

Really? One round… - @MarkusFlorez99 are you trying to sneak one past me huh? I think Ruiz hit plenty hard enough for “Garcia” Norton if a 190lbs fighter can put him out then a modern HW with pop, fast hands and pressure will bust him up for my 0.2$.

Arreola was shot to pieces and made it competitive, dropped him once and wobbled him too. Of course Ruiz outworks the old man down the stretch. He can hurt Norton but he's not as creative in the pocket, worse defense, and his hooks are wide, not short punches on the inside as Quarry imo

That's why Norton dominated Garcia in the rematch and beat fighters leagues above him

Ruiz won by 9 points on two cards and 7 on the third (11 rounds to 1 with a flash knockdown against him). Unfortunately, that’s the last time I saw Ruiz look good in a fight.

It’s also not just pressure and fast hands with Ruiz. Ruiz also was good with counters and punching at the same time as the opponent.

Norton would have to be on his bicycle jabbing for 12 rounds and I doubt he could pull that off.

Arreola literally set the Compubox record in his fight before Ruiz. That’s not exactly shot to pieces.

Against knownoki who is a hype job. But if you want physical evidence, here is someone the same size as Norton who lost to Oliver Mccall in 2010 and went the distance with Ruiz. Ruiz comes forward but he doesn't Chisora them, it's educated pressure. I think Norton can beat him up in the pocket and fight on the ropes like he did against Quarry

Ruiz wouldn't even look big compared to Norton based on this

Norton dominated in the rematch with Garcia because Garcia was finished as a fighter. Garcia had been knocked out prior to Norton by Joe Bugner in 2 and Joe Alexander in 1. Garcia was 6-5 in his last 11 fights before fighting Norton, losing 4 of those by knockout.

It was in 2010 he debuted in 2009 why would an early UD like this matter? At this stage in a career guys are usually working on things still, I’m not watching this fight, too much effort for Ruiz Jnr vs Norton I’m not asking you to watch Norton vs Joe Hemphill whenever that is lol.

If this is nothing but the truth why did Norton beat guys who are bigger and superior technicians to Garcia ? It literally goes against the agenda that Norton is susceptible to larger fighters who would probably have more power than Garcia

I think the point here is to use the best versions and not cherry pick lackluster fights from a guy who often was out of shape.

And we both know that size wasn't Norton's problem.
