I legit believe he has the heart and power to upset the top fighters in the division. I am confident he makes a statement against Huni and hopefully gets a big fight towards the end of the year.

How does he do against the current top 10:

    1. Usyk
    2. Dubois
    3. Parker
    4. Fury
    5. Joshua
    6. Kabayel
    7. Horgovic
    8. Bakole
    9. Zhang
    10. Ajagba

I think he can beat Zhang, Bakole, Ajagba and maybe even Hrgovic and Joshua, I don't give him much chance of winning against the others...

Probably not Usyk or Fury but I give him a good shot vs Dubois and he could have a great fight with Parker. Wardley vs Parker I think stylistically could be a great match up.

I've been a big fan since day 1. I made an amazing montage for his fight history but got taken down because of copyright.

I don't know if he is the hardest hitter, but obviously hits very hard, has that killer instinct and is quite smart too.

Though not as smart as I thought he was after seeing him give a horrible ranking of current heavyweights:

He'll do the job on Saturday in my opinion and doubters will be silenced again.

His right hand is probably the biggest in the division.

I don't think he can beat Usyk but he can make it interesting. Usyk can neutralize right hands by throwing hard counters which is why so many heavyweights are reluctant to commit throwing their right hand consistently vs him.

If Wardley can go for broke and just attack Usyk relentlessly and fearlessly with his right hand, he could hurt Usyk. But Usyk recovers well, has a great chin and a great gas tank. And Wardley isn't defensively great so Usyk can pick him apart.

I give Wardley a 10% punchers chance vs Usyk but that's it. Usyk is open to the right hand but you have to be fearless in throwing it and accept the risk of being countered by the left.

Right now i favour Wardley over Bakole, Ajagba, Zhang and Joshua. Too early to favour him over the others but he has a punchers chance.

Idk about the others but IMO Kabayel destroys Wardley in 3-4 rounds. Awful matchup for Wardley. He is tailor made for Kabayel

You think he hits harder than Zhang or Dubois or even Joshua? I doubt. I’m not even sure he hits harder than usyk (ask Dave Allen or Tyson fury or Anthony Joshua or Dubois) I like him though, but he hasn’t faced anyone near elite, levels tend to show as you step up in competition. Let’s see if he ploughs through huni

That stoppage he had against Clarke was sickening; legit looked like he was hitting his opponent with a baseball bat.

He's the second best British prospect behind Itauma.

I've rated Wardley since he destroyed Simon Valilly in devastating and comprehensive fashion and have always agreed with Barry Jones assessment of him having a rare and natural proclivity towards violence particularly when hurt that is akin to a prime Nigel Benn. This alone makes him quite unique in the HW division, extremely dangerous but also vulnerable at the same time.

Wardley will likely continue on quite the tear right up until someone times him with the perfect shot and likely KHTFO but until then, I reckon it will be quite a ride!

Loses to them all, might beat Bakole though. I hope I am wrong because he seems a lovely guy but he's being ranked as some kind of killer based on a devastating knock out against a British level fighter who he had previously went life and death with. I'd not be surprised if Huni boxes his ears off and that's where my hard earned tenner will be going...

Damn I didn't realise people rated Wardley so high here. I've liked the guy since pretty early on but I don't think he beats any of the top 10 guys. Maybe Zhang because he's looking pretty past it now? Apart from that tho I think Wardley is too basic and too wild. He also has Ben Davidson in his corner which is a big disadvantage. Big punch but I think Huni breaks him down tomorrow night.

I'd be surprised if he got by Huni tbh. Guy drew with Clarke.

Huni is a great matchup for fans, boxer vs puncher is always exciting. But honestly Wardley is 50% hype right now. Most of the top ten walk through him. I don't have ajagba in my top ten, but with his strength he would be a tough tough test for wardley. If he wins against huni I would love that matchup next. If he then beats ajagba he should fight a top ten fighter.

I wonder why your top ten has kabayel so clearly separated from dubois and parker btw. And Joshua with his recent showings above kabayel is not what I am seeing. Kabayel is strong in craft and mind. Compare that to Joshua.
