If instead of Holyfield you put Usyk fighting 30-year-old Mike Tyson in 1996, who would win?

I don`t think Parker has done anything special, Agit beat Zhang far more convincingly and Usyk would have toyed a shot Wilder and a fat Bakole.

    I think Tyson would win.
He was past his prime but still elite level. He retained most of his handspeed and maybe even had a little more power than before. The pressure he brought during the first half of the fight was still great and I don't think Usyk would react well against explosive pressure fighter.

But by 30 it was already mostly gone.

Of all the greats, I like prime Mike least for Usyk. But Tyson stopped being Tyson even at the point of the first Bruno fight, when he first started eschewing defense, then combos.

Yes , but needless to say usyk avoids kabayel as well ( or even more..)

thats what i said : its funny we are talking how he would cope with one of the most dangerous legends of boxing while in real he ducks parker and kabayel to fight jake paul.

How did he display more power? He stopped Bruno in three because Bruno wouldn`t fight back and didn`t score any one punch KO`s after the Tillman fight.

I think Usyk is a lot better than Agit.

Of course . That much better that we will never know since usyk avoids him while kabayel is immediately ready and willing to fight usyk .

Nevertheless , lets skip any facts and reality , all together :

Usyk never ducks , he fights anyone everwhere , he is as as the only one brave enough to face jake paul , he is goat .

I don`t know why you`re rating Agit over Usyk, he is dangerous but to me Usyk looks quicker etc.

Its not about ranking but about who is honorable and good for the sport . Agit wants to fight , usyk is just full of empty words and ducks agit .

He`s coming to the end of his career and has proven everything at heavyweight are you seriously comparing this to Jones ducking Sspinal in the UFC? Agit has done well by I don`t think Usyk would prove anything more by beating him, Agit is a good fighter but not that special in my eyes.

Why would it be good for the sport? Agit isn`t an elite fighter he`s just good, let him fight all the younger guys and have his own era if he`s that good, Agit vs Usyk isn`t that important of a fight, it would be interesting though.

I said maybe. The fact that he still knocked out people while using less combinations is a testament of his power.
You mentionned Bruno lack of resistance, but regardless of that, Tyson almost lifted him off his feet during his final combination (something he didn't do the first time while Bruno was smaller).
Concerning one-punch KO, he did it to durable Botha and Etienne later.
And just my personnal opinion, but I think you gain little more power as you age.

No, you punch harder due to body mechanics and hand speed.

Mike Tyson imo. We haven't really seen Usyk against a comparable heavyweight that applies high pressure and good movement.

Tyson movement wasn`t great by the mid 90`s.
