    In Saudi Arabia.

Don’t know much about Sam Goodman apart from he was due to face Inoue but got injured a few weeks before.

The fact the 3 favourites are British but the card isn’t in Britain is a sad reflection of the way boxing is going. Everybody just waiting on the Saudi cash.

I’d expect Itauma to stop Whyte. But it goes past 3 rounds it could be interesting.

Going to be good to see someone throw a punch back at Itauma and we’ll be able to see what’s he’s made of. That being said if Whyte goes to trade it might not see 30 seconds.

Must be a good financial offer for Dillian as not sure what he’s got to make from this fight. As he’s going to lose what’s left (if anything) of his reputation when he gets splattered by a 20yr old kid.

How? Whyte would be blowing out his arse. There is zero chance that this is competitive. Whyte will be put into orbit for the final time.

I get your point but if you are a bricklayer would you rather get 200 quid a day in UK or 10k a day in Saudi

I agree that it’s absolutely not the fighters fault. I just wish the Saudi’s never got involved.

I'm starting to feel the same now. Atmospheres are what makes the big fights. Plus seeing that Turki is a racist, has put me off him.

Whyte is completely finished as a boxer and he has no chance against Itauma.

On paper it looks like a good fight but in reality it is close to being a mismatch.

Whyte getting his retirement fund in and booking himself a one way trip to button moon Ituama will destroy him dangerous fight for him to take.

Whyte would have to have a pretty fantastic warm weather camp (if you know what I mean) to have the athleticism to compete in this fight.

I hope he does as otherwise this fight will involve him plodding into the ring, getting stopped in under 3 rounds and soiling himself in the process.

Its a perfect step up fight. Good name for is record and a guy that will bring it. Someone that wants to fight. If itauma wins this he has more credibility. Ball v goodman is good match making. Surely its ball v inoue if they both win. I can see inoue struggling next fight with akhmedeliev. Ball should win.

To be fair to Whyte, although he is probably washed at the top level he's always had a somewhat decent jab that he builds off of and he showed a good tank in his last fight. Feel he could make this a fun/ competitive-ish fight (or get slumped out in three)

I like this card though and wanna see Cacace get his flowers and a big pay day

Been a big fan of Whyte over the years—especially after the Joshua face-off sitdown—but he’s only had one meaningful fight since November 2022 (Franklin), and this just doesn’t bode well.

Feels like the end of the road.

You have to make Moses a heavy favourite. Young, composed, clinical. Could easily see Dillian getting iced Povetkin-style inside four.

Hope I’m wrong. Hope he drags Moses into deep water. But even then—one proper fight in three years, didn’t show on the Wardley card against TBA—if someone’s drowning late, it’s likely to be Whyte.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he pulls out before fight night unless the money’s silly. The matchup makes no real sense. Moses vs Chisora, Miller, even Huni would have made more sense and at least given some kind of benchmark.

And so we go again—another great British card in Saudi, with all the atmosphere of Eddie’s back garden and probably fewer boxing fans than a Friday night at York Hall.

The bit I can't get my head around.

This is all purely done in the name of marketing.

I can't see more than 1,000 brits flying over for it.

I assume it'll be a DAZN PPV, so about 400k people max will be watching (including moody streams).

So how on earth are Saudi getting the eyeballs to justify the costs?

It's the step up a lot have been asking for. It's a sensible one too.
Whyte is a name, he's game but he isnt the fighter he once was and has been inactive.
He can however go 12 rounds and will come to win, that being said Itauma will black him out
early doors and Whyte will retire.

I would put big money on Whyte pulling out before fight night.

I don't think he will with the money on offer, he will be getting 3 or 4 times what he would have made fighting Joyce. There is more chance of him getting popped again for juicing but I'm sure Turki's got that covered too. Whyte is surely looking to cash out now unless he is totally deluded, he's done at top level.
