Sharkey seemed to be the 1890s-1900s equivalent with Marciano, a powerful, durable and insanely strong roughhouser with great stamina, toughness. His chin probably wasn’t on Rocky’s level though I’m not sure how far from it. His speed appeared to be a great strength of his as well which further differs him from the Rock.

    How would this one go?

    scenario 1: 25 rounds Sharkey’s era
    Scenario 2: 15 rounds Walcott’s era

Like so many matchups, what the ref allows, ring size, gloves. Sharkey might make Galento look clean and rough him all over if allowed. Or Walcott might shut him out …

If Sharkey has Wyatt Earp in tow as ref….the outcome is anyone’s guess.

After Walcott flattens Major Tom with the left hook, Twerp likely DQs Mr Cream for a low blow.

Could they have beaten Mittens McDonald is the question.
