But no Mike Tyson. Too obvious of a choice. You can, however, pick Marciano, Sam Peter or Tony Galento as possible candidates

Are we allowed to send in Lennox to just blitz the guy, like he did Golota and Grant?

Anyway, for more conventional picks that it sounds like you're looking for, Ibeabuchi would do the job. Maybe Tua. And I'm sure some others.

Part of the difficulty is that you're asking for a specific archetype, and some of the guys who'd beat 1974 Foreman up don't fit that archetype.

No such man exists, in my opinion.

I feel like the giants would get hurt the worst, George had underrated speed at his peak and if you’re there to see those combos.

If you instead take someone like Dempsey, Sullivan or a prime Tyson then you have someone with the combination of speed, accuracy and power to really make George pay for his mistakes. I feel like this style stand a better chance than the super heavyweight plodders. Even then I’d still favour George rather comfortably over them too.

I'll let the Primo Carnera defenders do their job,I'm not sure.

I’d favour Primo in a street fight for what it’s worth, apparently he was a much better grappler than he was a boxer

Hmm,if Carnera actually grapples better, then I'm actually sure that he beats Foreman now.

If you can take away Foreman's grappling game, you're good, Ali taught that.

Only problem is that Primo liked boxing from range too much for his own good, he wasn’t good at putting weight into his punches properly either, he’d have to go full Loughran fight and fight the dirtiest fight in the clinch he could.

Joe Louis, literally no one in Foreman’s corner would back him to beat Louis, they’d know what he was capable they’d tell him it’d be a short night and to fight some undersized pressure fighter. Moore probably wouldn’t corner him.

Whereas I don't agree, I admire your confidence in the great one.

Joe Louis was 6ft1 200lbs give or take on his best night, skinny / trim like an old timer usually is but hardly small or fragile… Louis knew how to roll shots, throw short punches inside with combos credible to KOing durable men - those long winded up hooks from behind his head… target practice for JL he had just as fast hands as Ali and was a much better boxer then Lyle, Young and Ali lol.

I’ll beat you over the head with my Louis > Foreman argument like a club unless you agree with me  say it “Louis via KO”

You'd need an insane chin and stamina, not sure there is anyone. Marciano just isn't big enough.

Louis is not a slugger. He's a boxer-puncher. Doesn't meet the criteria. Try again.
