I heard on the boxing asylum podcast that Whyte was offered more money for this fight then he was getting offered for an AJ rematch or a Chisora trilogy.

Not surprised. They realllllly are desperate to build this goon up.:lol: Honestly I just don’t really see anything special about moses. Just going off the eye test.

I think Jalolov is a much better HW prospect if he focuses on the pros now. And honestly Jai is more of a potential force at HW too if he moves up. No doubt about it. Either one flatline him right now.

Itauma should body Whyte at this point. KO3 for me. It's a good name for Itauma's resume but will always have a small asterix next to it for me because of how shot Whyte is.

I can't help but wonder what might happen if Whyte gets through those first few rounds and is able to find some sort of go forward. He's been around, knows a few tricks, and has shown in the past dirty boxing is in his game. I'll watch but I'm not really expecting much tbh

With this victory, Itauma jumps into the Top 10, an easy victory for Itauma against the sluggish Whyte who only has experience left...

I think he needs to beat someone like Kabayel to showcase himself as the real deal, but it will be exciting to see how far he goes.

Hopefully, Whyte has enough left to stick something on him. He looks decent,t Moses, fast, accurate, and he's a leftie, but he's barely taken a punch yet. Whyte's left hook if it lands, could cause him trouble problem is Whyte's feet look slower and less coordinated than ever so MO might be able to move and throw volume to set up a stoppage. I don't think its a bad fight, I'm surprised Whyte has taken it.

Kabayel is a top 3 heavyweight. I'd be surprised if he ever gets to that level, which could be champion material.

Itauma just needs a few decent wins to prove he's top 15, and a contender.

Even a faded Whyte is a good start.

My favourite moment in whyte's career was when shot Povetkin KO'd him with an uppercut.
I feel like he's similar to AJ in that he was vulnerable to being KO'd but we the fans never got enough KO's.
Hopefully they can both keep fighting as old fighters now and make up for that. Considering all the old/shot people they enjoyed KO'ing it's only fair to experience that themselves now.

I hope Whyte turrrrrns up as I have a feeling he pulls out with an injury or fails a PED test and this gets cancelled.

But if it goes ahead, then Itauma with the KO win under 5 rounds.

    Whyte is washed.

That was one of those punches that you can honestly say would’ve KOed 99% of heavyweights past OR present  Actually slightly lifted Whyte off his feet.

Yeah agreed, "real deal" for me means elite at their division, which is why I mentioned Kabayel

Surely it's a fight setup to make Itauma look good and KO a vulnerable "name".

But it would be very funny to watch Shyte starch him out.
