Filip Hrgović vs David Adeleye set for August 16 in Riyadh

Hrgovic is trying to imitate Vitaly Klitschko's style but he's not good at it. He doesn't have the natural boxer fundamentals. He has limited punch options in his arsenal. Dubois looked much more a complete boxer against him.

Adeleye will rough him up and then tuck him up.

And rightly so, there was absolutely nothing similar to a Klitschko style that night

Adeleye will make Hrgovic quit on his stool as opposed to DDD who made him quit standing up.

Hopefully this will be Hergo's last big fight and will drop him out of the top 10. Thus a more motivated HW will take his place.

 

Because Hrgovic is old skool, bad ass. Adeleye won't be able to intimidate him with his usual pre fight antics. And Hrgovic is better than him at trash talking too.

 

Have you watched much of Adeleye??

I mean never say never, but he hasn't shown anything to suggest he can do such a thing

 

Hope springs eternal. I'm just sick of seeing Hrgovic's smug mug.

 

Hrgovic looks like a gentleman with no fighter spirit. I think Adeleye will tease him comfortably.

 

If Hrgovic can be bothered to train for this fight and come in able to throw punches in combinations without suffering from a fit due to exhaustion, then this should be a very easy KO for him.

In fact, I am worried about Adeleye's health here if Hrgovic is fit.

The skills gap is huge and Adeleye does have a huge heart as a fighter, so will not quit during a beating. Its a big miss match skill wise.

 

David is awful, Hrg haas beaten Joyce and Zhang (controversial) David has never been in at that level.

 

Hrgovic is few classes above Adeleye who is very ordinary in terms of boxing skills, speed and ring IQ even on domestic scene. Hrgovic has faced boxers who are WAY more talented and gifted than Adeleye, and held his own in every fight.

This will be as one sided as the Huni fight but with no hail Mary decider...Hrgovic comfortably takes this. I honestly think that KO was maybe a BAD thing for Wardley. It fuels his, and his camps belief that he only has to get it right once...he has to learn more about the game to go further. He seems like a lovely fella and I genuinely hope I am wrong, but that KO has made him the most overrated heavy about just now...

In what way does Hrgovic try imitate Vitali? I don't see it at all. Hrgovic has his own unique style built off the timing and accuracy he has with his right. Just about everything he does in a ring is just to set up another right hand. He's got a style built off one punch.
