Oleksandr Usyk: Tyson Fury, Mairis Briedis, Daniel Dubois, Murat Gassiev, Anthony Joshua, Marco Huck, Krzysztof Glowacki, Tony Bellew Dmitry Bivol: Artur Beterbiev, Canelo Alverez, Gilberto Ramirez, Joe Smith Jr, Jean Pascal, Sullivan Barrera
It's worth mentioning that Usyk beat Fury and Joshua twice, and you can add Chisora, Hunter and Mchunu as good wins. Joyce in a WSB fight.
If Usyk doesn't stick around too long and lose before he retires, his resume' is the most impressive ever IMO. Big wins against undefeated 6-9, 275 pound Fury (2x), 1 loss, 6-6, 250 pound Joshua (2x), and 1 loss 6-5, 235 pound Dubois, all athletic giants that I wouldn't favor many past fighters to beat individually, and I definitely wouldn't favor any past fighter to beat all three of them in succession. Add to that, Usyk is fundamentally, and technically excellent, always in condition, athletically gifted with speed and strength, and fights out of a southpaw stance. And, even more remarkable, his best years might have been spent in the amateurs. IMO, he is beating the most impressive competition in history, one after the other while being in his mid to late 30s. But he needs to get out soon, fighting athletic giants, it's just a matter of time before one of them gets him. Wouldn't be surprised if Dubois wins. It wouldn't change my mind about Usyk if he did lose, he is 38 years old and he's not fighting a Folley, Chuvalo, or Brian London type. He is fighting a dangerous, huge, younger man.
'Dmitry Bivol: Artur Beterbiev, Canelo Alverez, Gilberto Ramirez, Joe Smith Jr, Jean Pascal, Sullivan Barrera' Wow, it really looks bad compared to Usyk, that's for sure. Beter was forty, Alvarez is a MW and Pascal wasn't considered that good even when Kov beat him up. That Pascal one was a very funny fight though, shame the ref did that Brit stoppage and Kov couldn't get the proper finish in the corner. Pascal was very disrespectful in the build-up, maybe it was out of character for him though. He's descended from the Frenchman who invented a very important computer language called Pascal. So it's not about education or anything like that. I think he was just being rude.
A past it Fury, AJ and green Dubois is beating the most impressive competition in history? You fanboys are way out of control it's laughable really. . He has a pretty good resume but suggesting its the best of all time going way too far. Krzysztof Glowacki, Huck and gassiev are B level fighters, they are not all time great resume wins. Calling that list of names the most impressive competition in history is laughable.
Mchunu is a damned good fighter and he has a style no one relishes facing because he's very skilled, tricky and awkward and will make you look bad. Usyk fought him as a voluntary for his first defence of his world title and US debut. How many fighters who do that for their first defence and US debut agaiinst a slick, highly skilled tricky and very awkward customer like Mchunu? His fight against the huge punching Makabu a couple of fights before he fought Usyk was fantastic. Yes he lost but he gave Makabu everything he could handle and some and was narrowly ahead on the judge's cards prior to gassing and getting clipped in round 11 This is what Eddie Chambers said about Mchunu after losing to him Team_Chambers Only way Mchunu looses in Cruiserweights is if someone to aggressive or gets robbed overseas.. pound for pound i don't see any of those top cruiserweights beating him.. style to awkward.. & box circles possibly stop Huck Team_Chambers Thabiso Mchunu is no Novice... the dude is technical southpaw.. Reminds me of Lara.. U have to chase him down.. & my opinion the best Cruiserweight.'
