I somehow liked that Holyfield as a fighter more than Lewis, so I'm picking Holyfield on points...

Holyfield. Holyfield rocked & wobbled Prime Lewis in their 2nd fight when he was shot. Prime Holyfield would outwork & outspeed him.

Holyfield was busier and faster in 1992, and seeing all the troubles he gave to a prime Lewis in 1999, I pick Holyfield by UD.

Yes, this is what I was thinking. Holyfield did pretty good when they actually fought in 98/99

Holy by a clear UD, possibly a late stoppage.

So the classic forum favors Holyfield to beat Lewis but Usyk wouldn't ? Very strange

    Lewis for me.
Holy definitely had a shot, but he's too inconsistent for me to back in a one off fight.

I am picking Lennox Lewis by a close decision 4 out of 7 times, and picking Evander Holyfield the other 3 times.

The 1998 and 1999 versions of Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield met in the ring… twice.. both went the distance.. the second fight was somewhat close. It stands to reason for me that the much younger 1992 rendition of Holyfield vs the later-older 2000 variety of Lewis would also go the distance and likely be even closer, perhaps even seeing holy winning it.

Evander Holyfield W 12 for me

Lennox would give Holyfield all the same trouble he did in their actual fights and i don't think being a bit faster would be enough to win. Lennox decision

It literally says the year 1992 in the title. How is inconsistency throughout his career a factor when we're talking about a specific version of Holyfield?
Holyfield UD since 92 version was leagues better than the faded ,weak , and battle worn versions Lewis beat.

Because he won one and lost one in 1992. Decent competition, yes, but he was always inconsistent at HW - as he was that year.
