Katsidis = Top 3 rated Lightweight when Marquez fought him.

Norwood = Made 8 world title defences was a top 2 rated Featherweight and it was a highly controversial decision and Marquez's first world title fight.

Bradley = Bradley is a hall of fame fighter and it was at the end of Marquez's career he was 40 years old.

John = So a fighter who was a champion for almost a decade who had 16 title defences is a B/C level type fighter ? Ok.

Diaz = So beating a top 3 rated Lightweight at 37 years old in what was named the fight of the year is a low point ? Diaz average ? he won 3 out of the 4 belts at Lightweight and won 8 world title fights.

Mayweather = So losing to one of the greatest fighters of all time above his best weight at catchweight is a low point ?

All these fighters were top 5 ranked fighters and everyone on this list was a world champion at one point outside of Katsidis.

No i'm sorry that's not comparable with Fury's thin resume and struggling against an MMA fighter and unranked mediocre opposition.

And if Fury would've been as active as Marquez and fought as many top ranked fighters as him he'd have alot more losses aswell.

I think if you fight 4/5 x per year, then no one cares if you have a novelty fight. When it’s 1-2 times per year and there is Usyk waiting, it is a p*ss take. The woeful performance was the icing on the cake. Not a good look

All the fighters he mentioned in his post to discredit Marquez were all top 5 ranked fighters when Marquez fought them and all of them were world champions outside of Katsidis.

Imagine thinking beating Diaz in the fight of the year at 37 years old is a low point.

And imagine thinking losing controversial decision to John in the champions backyard who was a champion for almost a decade is a low point.

He called Diaz average lol and John B/C class.

God knows what he ranks the likes of Wallin, McDermott, Ngannou, then with that logic.

Also bringing up 7 losses when Marquez had double the amount of fights as Fury and has probably fought quadruple the amount of the top 10 ranked fighters Fury has and at 4 different weightclasses i might add.

And finally Marquez fought in 18 world title fights compared to 8 for Fury.

 

What's ironic is he claimed Marquez was probably on PEDs against Pacquiao yet Fury is the only here who actually tested positive for a banned substance, and it happened roughly around the time of the Klitschko fight

 

Frankly, it ends any suggestion that Fury is an elite HW champion. It’s a legacy killer.

Against at the time… basically the UFC Heavyweight Champion who was always known for having a granite chin and pretty serious power. It’s not like Fury went in there with some UFC reject that got whooped enough times in MMA so he switched sports because he had no other option anymore. I don’t like ngannou at all but he’s no joke. As far as punching power he’s top 10 in the world in combat sports. And clipped Fury pretty good and dropped him. **** happens.

But destroying a whole legacy in one bad fight in which he got up and won the fight albeit a controversial win but still got the W nonetheless.

You're laughably claiming nonsense things like how getting dropped by Wilder is a bad thing to be noted. Wilder is one of the biggest punchers and most dangerous HWs in history!. That Fury got off the floor showing massive heart and toughness to win those fights is a huge CREDIT to Fury!!
