Thoughts? - anyone wanna defend “The Acorn” or are we all in a state of total submission to his royal highness? “Ice Tea” Toney?

Who exactly did Toney wreck at heavyweight except an old Holyfield ? He didn't wreck Peter or Rahman. He didn't wreck Ruiz or Oquendo ... it's possible Toney decisions Shavers but it's also possible he doesn't ... wreck him, no way .

Shavers was a big right hand puncher and it isn't easy to make a living hitting James Toney with right hands.

Toney is looking like he’ll progress to 2-0 over the 70s - crazy stuff for a former 160lber.

I imagine this one looking like Toney/Rahman, except with a weaker, smaller Rahman and a closer to prime Toney.

James has a very good shot at Earnie simply because the Acorn doesn't take nearly as much as he dishes out. Rahman despite his flaws did went through some trenches with Corrie Sanders. Earnie—I don't think he ever did, falling short against Lyle, and showing himself vulnerable against the clever counterpuncher in Quarry.

Would have to think about it.

With worse defence, less work rate and dumber.

The workrate is a big one. Possibly even slower, too.

I'm sorry for you brother. Your eyes cannot take the blinding light of the truth and you scurry back into the cave.
