    Big fan of Jin Sasaki as a fighter but he has only one way to win and that's by catching Brian Norman with a huge shot early. He'll just get picked apart more and more as the fight goes on and take a ton of damage if he doesn't hurt Norman early.

    What I've been confused about since they announced this fight is why they are rushing Sasaki so much. He's only 23 and they could keep him at domestic level for at least 3 more years to get more experience and improve his boxing skills (Andy Hiraoka is much more polished as a prospect and even though they've both been fighting on Ohashi's cards, they've put Sasaki into a title fight first). Feels like they aren't looking out for his best interests and are just looking to cash in ASAP instead of developing his defense and skills properly while risking a loss in the process.

    As it stands he's basically a less polished Japanese version of David Lemieux, ridiculous power but the defense and boxing leaves a lot to be desired... Rooting for him to win this one but it's a very tough ask.

    Maybe it’ll be good experience. He’s improved a lot in the past couple of years. If he knows that, maybe even a loss won’t deter him

    Main concern is that Norman punches hard enough and Sasaki is determined enough that he could take some serious punishment in there, don't want to see him get his chin cracked this early in his career. It is good experience at the top level and he has improved in the past few years, but all experience in pro boxing comes at a price with the damage you take in fights and the risk/reward here is off in my opinion

    Right? I got them confused several times. Sometimes I wish we could back to more simple boxing attire, which would help in these situations.
