zhang would pick foreman apart foreman was slow and had no defence zhang is 6’8 300 pounds and is super accurate and hits like a truck this wouldnt end well for foreman

foreman obviosly had the better career but this a nightmare matchup for him

Zhang has early success then tires after four or five rounds like usual, gets TKO'd against the ropes or laid flat on his back by Big George around rounds six or seven imo

A prime Zhang would dwarf "big" george foreman who could only bully light heavyweights. Zhang is the second hardest puncher in boxing history behind Wilder, and he's faster, stronger, more durable with a southpaw stance. Foreman is one of my favorite heavyweights but he gets flattened, absolutely no chance. I only see Fury and Lewis beating a peak Zhang. The sport has simply evolved and old heads need to accept it

I am not trying to imply that you are a sock puppet for a certain other poster who has already made an appearance in the thread, but...well, actually, the thought has occurred.

Man, maybe. Foreman had a great chin and he was usually a lot bigger than his opponents. This means they rarely had the power to hurt him. Lyle did crack that chin, and I think Zhang hits a lot harder than Lyle.

I think part of the problem for Foreman is that his defence was leaky partly because he did have such a good chin. However, leading with the mandible against Zhang is probably not a great idea. As is usual with Zhang matchups, if the other guy survives the first few rounds Zhang is probably in trouble from gassing out. I haven't anlysed the mashup very well, so I'm gonna say it's a 50-50 proposition at the moment. Foreman also brings his own firepower and workrate to the party.

    Zhang's power is over hyped.
Everyone talks about him like he's this killer with some massive record of KO's against iron chinned ATGs and he's just not.
Yeah he can bang, but between his non-existent gas tank and unability to finish guys he hurts like Parker and Kabayel he's nothing special in the run of things

I have a feeling they are the same person, it’s the only reasonable explanation because it can’t be 2 different persons that are this r*tarded.

There is no doubt about this.
Joyce dwarfs Foreman and got one-punched into a journeyman.
But here is the most laughable thing when people think Foreman would win. Foreman literally got KO'd by an ATG featherfist.
Mate, if you can't handle Stings-like-a-butterfly, you are not handling Zhang.
And last time I checked, Foreman wasn't Mr Defence.
Just LOL at Foreman plodding forward trying to bully the big fat Chinese ogre. How funny would it be. And there Sugar Hill would be in the corner egging him on. 'Who da big dawg, George? You is! Be da big dawg, throw dat right hand!'

Usyk would box Zhangs face off and Vitali outworks Zhang to a comfortable UD. And Ali likely treats Zhang like a heavybag.

I agree that Zhang might have a chance against Foreman though.

Most bizarre thread in recent memory.

It's like somebody claiming "If you rub a hard boiled egg on your head after soaking it in turpentine, you can actually see tiny sparks!"

Um, ok.... but why would you care to find out.

Is OP related to Zhang or is he just one of those guys?

@MarkusFlorez99 is the Real Deal, I like his threads and posts, Zhang can threaten Foreman in the early rounds and even knock him out, Foreman was a force but he was also beatable...

    Keep dreamin’.

Zhang might not even beat Wilder if he wasn’t shot to bits….
