I think this is a bit silly.

I maintain that Usyk is a long night for anybody that ever lived, but a lot of these guys that you mentioned also have great countervailing attributes, and deserve respect. Let's just say Uysk gets in the pantheon, and leave it at that, without having to assign him history wins against the world.

I fully respect Usyk and consider him an ATG talent, but prime for prime if you put him against Lennox, Holmes, Ali, either Klitschko, Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson and probably more besides he is likely losing a lot of those fights.

 

You put the top 20 ATG heavyweights into a World Series type round robin tourney where everyone fights each other 3 times, and there is one thing I think most people can agree with here - NO ONE is coming out of it with a ZERO in tact.

Not Lewis
Not Tyson

Who would be sitting at the top in terms of points would be a more interesting thing to consider IMO

 

I believe tyson is as roided as Usyk, not saying they are roided, I will keep that to myself, but i do think they the same of their natty status

Oh and Mike would kill him, but he isn't the only one

 

Thing is, I don't think you have to look to ATGs to find Usyks kryptonite, if you want to that is.
Not that I don't think he will deserve ATG status when his career is over, not that I think he's over hyped, or any **** like that.
It's just head to head should be separate from ATG.
Who would win head to head? Who faced the more difficult opponents or could do better in each others era? Who had more of an impact on the sport? Or impact beyond the sport? Who could've if they were in a different era? Who knows? Not me.
Judge the man on what he did in his time, against the opponents he had available, the world he lived in, and stop comparing so much fam.
Usyk is probably the best of his generation and he's he right now. His accomplishments, his record, his statements. Not some hypothetical bull****.

 

Usyk has impeccable skills, look, boxing has evolved and it's realistic to say that Usyk is able to outbox all of the above...

 

Yep I agree His skills are absolutely top notch and would stand up in any era.
TBH I think Usyk does better against greats from the past than he does against one or two (specifically one) from the current era, but that's all guesswork on my part.
I'm not sure I necessarily buy the boxing evolution stuff, beyond admitting nutrition and training have come a very long way, but that's just me.

 

Usyk vs Ali - Overrated Ukrainian has never fought anyone with the movement and speed of peak Ali, let's say the Ali from the Williams fight. Loses a one sided decision.

Usyk vs Holmes - Holmes beats Usyk with his jab and straight punches and beats him up inside. His chin and engine take him to a close bit clear points win.

Usyk vs Lewis - Usyk looked uncomfortable when AJ really pressured him and when Fury landed his uppercuts. Lewis is levels above both. If it's Lewis in, was it the ninth v AJ, Usyk doesn't get out of the round. Lewis stops Usyk late in a clear win

Usyk vs Wladimir - Wlad busts Usyk up and stops him late. He doesn't grab here, Usyks power doesn't worry him, he stays long, stays offensive and lands big every round.

Usyk vs Foreman - Usyk likely beats young George in a clear points win, and old George by a closer one.

Usyk vs Louis - Usyk might be a problem for louis..Good chin, good workrate, decent power, might stop Joe late.

Usyk vs Vitali - Vitali beats Usyk up. In Usyks own words, Vitali won't leave him alone..its Usyk tjat needs a breather here and he's not getting one. Smothered and battered over twelve.

Usyk vs Liston - 50/50 fight but Listons jab and uppercut make a constant impression on Usyk. Liston by late stoppage

Usyk vs Marciano - I think Usyk beats Rocky fairly comfortably.

Usyk vs Frazier - Frazier stops Usyk after 10..FOC Frazier is a monster and yes, cliche, but Usyk doesn't like the body shots.

Usyk vs prime Fury - I think prime Fury is a myth I made up in my head and I really think Usyk beats him
