I dont tune into too many live shows these days, and the last ones have all been super demoralizing. From shitty fights to criminal officiating.
But today... I am thoroughly enjoying myself. Hopefully the main event also delivers.

 

This was the kind of ref-ing that's needed too. The natural flow of the fight is what fans want.



A good ref should be seen and not heard.

Shout out to the JBC! They also have a fantastic domestic scene. And I would even go as far as saying that they are slightly better, because they have the yearly rookie king and A class tournaments.
Thus they have immense competition at the domestic level, and produce lots of champions and world class boxers.

At a few of the lower weights, if someone wins the JBC belt then there is like a 90% that they will fight for a world title, and a good chance that they will win it too. The stats are quite something.

 

Diamante just looks like he always has some sort of active STD, with all due respect

Rodriguez has only lost to former champions and borderline HOFs. Plus he is younger than Yafai. Rodriguez can pull it off. The only problem is, Rodriguez doesn't fight well abroad.

Rodriguez clearly hurts Yafai who's lucky not to go down. Ref is biased. Yagai appears to have recovered at 2 min. Rodriguez again lands a good combo making Yafai into a bobblehead. Big trouble for Yafai. Any judge who gives round 1 to Yafai should be drawn and quartered
