The commentators are right - Noah "Handz" Kidd has an ugly record (10-14-2) but when you actually look at it, has been matched very tough.

He was the Sergio Martínez's fifth opponent in Maravilla's comeback, which began in 2020. He also has fought Vito Mielnicki Jr. and Daniyar Yeleussinov, and held Derrick Findley to a SD.

This year alone he is 2-3, all against prospects, scoring two upsets and losing thrice.

Michael "Blessed Southpaw" Fontánez is six feet tall and usually campaigns at junior middle. Him versus Fundora would be a sight. :sisi1

Fontánez with a 10-8 round in the fourth on a legit body shot after having two points deducted for low blows in R3 (one had Kidd recovering for several minutes).

Never mind, it's waved off at the very end of the round. TKO4!

Esneiker "Maravilla" Correa has quick feet & hands and his record speaks to also having power (16-5-1, fourteen knockouts) but he also has been stopped thrice and isn't exactly a careful boxer, carrying both hands low as he jumps in & out. He's also giving up 5½″ of reach along with 2½″ of height to Hogan.

So we brought out the Lowell police department honor guard and got the national anthem of the USA not sung, but played on ...electric saxophone?

...by a gawky teenager named Eddie B.? We supposed to know who that is?

    Round 1

Ellis is spreading his base wide, popping jabs from the front hip. Ruiz is dipping to either side, earmuffs on, trying to cut his way inside with a jab and chopping right. Ellis very fast resetting his feet, always just outside Ruiz's range, ducking and popping up from a different angle, countering with quick hooks as Ruiz presses in on the spot where he was a moment before.

    10-9 Ellis
