He's been announced as part of the broadcast team for the Canelo-Crawford fight. Awful news, can't believe he's still getting opportunities for his vapid, pseudo-intellectual waffling.

Great to hear that he's back. Current crop of boxing announcers could use a shakeup.

Can you really not believe it? Have you heard literally any commentary team of the last 5 years bro?

I think Chris Algieri is about the only person I ever hear who isn't dreadful in one way or another - and he ain't getting the big jobs.

    Terrible news indeed.

Kellerman is a privileged douche who doesn't know **** about boxing.

That said, this is totally unsurprising if you know anything about the media world.

Algieri is indeed very good...articulate and handsome (no homo). No idea why he isn't in on the mega fights.

Yeah absolutely awful news that the most unqualified nepo-baby in boxing is again going to ruin commentary on some telecast. He's been a stain on this sport since he was plucked from cable access obscurity due to his rich daddy's connections to Bill Cayton and put on ESPN. Arghhh!!

The only comeback that matters in boxing is Tyson Fury

Remember when he tried to be a rapper? What an absolute clown. Detracts from anything he's a part of.

Yeah, the fact that ESPN actually replaced respected journalist and incisive boxing commentator Al Bernstein with this unqualified clown is one of the tragedies in boxing history. Another journalist said it was "like replacing Picasso with the guy who does Elvis paintings outside of Graceland!"
