Would Cotto at 154 had beaten Madrimov?

But i favor Ortiz to beat his ass, so that's not a problem.

It will be shameful for Madrimov and his proxy fanboys considering how they overrate Madrimov claiming nobody but Crawford can beat him, comparing him to far greater fighters like Cotto and Canelo in the meantime. There were a couple people saying he would beat Mayweather just based on that Crawford fight.

How is Madrimov responsible for what some fans claim?
I am a big Marimov fan, I think he beat Crawford, and I think he could beat anyone in the division. But I also understand how good of a boxer Ortiz is and why he is the slight favorite here.

No buts I was there to watch him live against Mayweather the best of their era.

Very early days but if Madrimov beats Vergil well then I could see Madrimov beating Cotto.

I'll go Cotto , more proven . The measure of Madrimov's abilities these days is a loss to a 37 year old Crawford who's over 20 pounds over the weight he began. I look for Virgel to win a wide UD over him as well...

Like I said, Madrimov was overrated, and the loss to Ortiz isn't going to age well

    Cotto was a brilliant fighter
Even if Marg didn't use plaster, it was not normal what he did coming forward. That would break many a fighter physically and mentally

Pac and Floyd are ultra talented fighters and imo among the most talent in the last 30 plus years, so no shame losing to both. He also busted Floyd up some and made him work HARD. Floyd had closer fights on the cards, but that fight was a major reason why Floyd wanted his father back in his corner. floyd threw a lot more and missed a lot more than usual.

Cotto was a very good boxer/puncher. I enjoyed his fights
