Floyd whooped Canelo, took him to school. Will Bud watch tape of that fight to help him beat Canelo come September 25?
the schooling Floyd gave Canelo was remarkable Yes Canelo was a little green, but he was more seasoned than many believe. Already a world champion with many fights under his belt Floyd was still 23 when he put on an all time great performance by whipping chico and 36 is old for a guy in the low to mid weight classes. He was definitely not in his prime physically, so it cancels out canelo being 23 imo
We are not allowed to mention that, because Floyd has a bigger reach lol I guess all of tyson's opponents where bigger than him also
Canelo had nothing to make Floyds brain even turn on in that fight Canelo won't be drained and isn't as green...pretty near prime whilst Crawford is 38. Crawford will have success against the ginger midget but it's not an easy night. Work rate I how Crawford has to win. Will be tight points job for him.
He is not. He is nastier than Floyd so he may put on more of a beating on Canelo than Floyd or Bivol did.
Exactly, but the haters make out he was some kid that has just graduated high school Great win considering Floyd was easily 15lb lighter on the night and 36 with hand issues
It's the only time I've ever seen an older fighter in his mid 30s who's past his prime fighting a much bigger fighter not get credit for the win because people want to give the younger opponent excuses for some reason. In reality it's just because Mayweather isn't liked if it was any other likeable fighter on this forum they would get a ton of a credit with no excuses. It's called picking and choosing the narrative based on who you like or don't like which is bias.
100% and this is what has brought the worst out of me There are those very people on this forum in recent days glazing Loma for dominating Rigo, despite him being the older fighter moving up 2 divisions. Yet Floyd gets zero credit for EASILY outboxing Marquez like an amateur under similar circumstances People hate Floyd and there are many reasons, but I also think deep down they know how great he was and they never seen him get a beating
I can't stand Mayweather's personality but when someone is that good you have to give them the respect they deserve based on their ability it's as simple as that. It's not a popularity contest and I'm never going to meet any of these boxers IRL anyway so along as they produce in the ring that's all that matters to me.
Agreed Many people i don't like in the entertainment industry, but if they are talented actors or whatever, I will say it I can separate the person from the athlete Does anyone think Kevin Spacey is a terrible actor?
