World champion in four weight classes, world champion in three weight classes in his 12th professional fight, a record in Asia that ties Lomachenko's record, becoming the third Japanese boxer to have been champion in four weight classes after Kazuto Ioka and Naoya Inoue.

The first male boxer to be a WBO champion in four different weight classes as well.

Victories against Palangpol CP Freshmart, Vic Saludar, Wulan Tuolehazi, Ryoichi Taguchi, Sho Kimura, Sho Ishida, Jonathan Gonzalez, Julian Yedras...

What do you think of Kosei Tanaka's induction into the Hall of Fame, who just announced his retirement at 29?

HOF worthy in my opinion. He'll probably get in at some point.

I do think the facts of his career are solid !

The only things that could prevent that are the fact that he didn't unify at 112 lbs or the fact that he lost his big fight against Kazuto Ioka. Also, given his career, I find that he wasn't popular enough, either in Japan or in international, because at the same time, there were the Inoue brothers, Yoshiki Takei, Daigo Higa, Kazuto Ioka, the Shigeoka brothers, Hayato Tsutsumi, Jin Sasaki, etc., who unfortunately stole his spotlight.

Yeah I would have liked to have seen a rematch with Ioka or perhaps a fight with Bam. I remember there was also some talks about Tanaka vs Chocolatito and that would have been an absolute war as well.

He loses two times in world championship fights but he defeated 10 opponents (5 by KOs)

When I auditioned for the kumite they told me I don't look like a Tanaka.
