Mike Tyson was 5'11 or under with 71 inch
More to size than height and reach, or is he truly the GOAT HW??
    Or how about Marciano?

Yes, Crawford has long arms for his height.

People are saying Crawford is too small for Canelo. This has nothing to do with Mike Tyson.

Crawford has been a weight bully during his entire pro career.

Now finally he'll be facing someone closer to his own size.

Others are saying he is bigger or the same size

I was using Mike as an example, that size is not just height and reach. He has the dimensions of a middleweight, but he's a fully fledged heavy

Canelo is stocky too like Mike and a bigger man than bud.

Crawford has a small frame for a guy his size with spindly arms and a narrow torso. Canelo, on the other hand, is very broad and has packed functional muscle onto his already large frame as he’s moved up through the weights. Therefore, Canelo is the bigger man with physical advantages even if he isn’t the longer man.

I've seen posters say all Bud needs to do is NOT drain himself or lose as much weight.

But on that, Bud at 168 would look flabby, not cut and trim as he did at 147 or 154. Not to mention, when Canelo weighs in at 168, he is cut and trim. And will be 180 on fight night.

Just hoping it's competitive and no on gets effed out of a proiper decision.

    Fully agree
I think it will be competitive, but canelo is a real super middle now. He has been above 154 for many years.

Canelo's superpower is figuring out the timing of the speedsters and then dropping the house on them.

Why would Bud look flabby at 168? Bud isn't actually 147 or 154 on fight night -- he's north of 160 on fight night. What people are saying is for him to not play the dehydration game to make weight, and just show up to weigh-in weighing what he weighs when lean and cut but not dehydrated down.

I'm pretty sure this is what Connor Benn did when he fought Eubank Jr.

    Riddle me this?

    Haney came up from 135

    Rougarou is a career 140

Haney weighed 165lbs for his 140 debut vs Rougarou

    Rougarou weighed 156lbs vs Haney

    Is Haney the smaller man?

Boxers also lose weight during their training camp. All that hard work, there's no way weight loss from between fights does not occur. SO what does he do, not work as hard in his camp so he doesn't lose as much weight? Sounds like a disaster weighting to happen.

For example. Look at how Oscar looked at 154. Trim and cut. What happened when he fought Sturm at 160? Flab. And that was just 6 pounds north. Then we weighed in at 156 (I believe) for Hopkins, back to looking much more in shape.

I think the whole "Dehydrating" thing people throw around gets used to freely, and by people who really don't know the inside details of most pro boxers camps. And I probably fall in to that as well.

But I do know this, a 38YO former WW with one fight at 154 should NOT be changing their training camps too much, or deviate from what got them there. Old dog, new tricks kinda thing.
