How do you see this fight going?? Personally I envision dubois bending the knee before The Sniper by the end of the 1st.

I'll take Sanders because Dubois is no great boxer and his defence is not too impressive. His chin has cracked before and against lesser punchers than Sanders. I mean, sure, Dubois could switch anybody's lights off with the right punch, but I'd bet Sanders lands the money punch first.

If he stayed in shape he would have beaten for Vitali.

Dubois survives an early scare and stops Sanders in the mid to late rounds. Sanders was useless after round 3.

He could have done better but I don't think he would have beaten Vitali.

How you know he wasn't in the best shape mentally & physically possible under his genetics & psychological wellbeing?

This idea of fighters not giving their 100% cause they don't look the part entirely misses the point. He had zero business beating ATG Wlad in the first place and yet he did. And Wlad "stayed in shape", why didn't he win?

Whoever landed first, Round 1 would be a shootout. If it went past 3 then Dubois wins pretty easily, I'm not a huge fan of Dubois either I think his days on the world stage are limited, but Corrie's gas tank let him down, and he got dropped by much worse fighters than Dubois.

If he stayed in shape, he still might have lost. There's no guarantees here.

Dubois’ endurance and high work rate would be a significant problem for Sanders. He has to spark him inside the first couple rounds or he’ll get ground down.

This. I am a huge fan of Corrie. Always will be. But Vitali is that one guy that would always be Corrie’s kryptonite. Vitali had an ability to sense shots coming way before they made contact and on top of that, he had a granite chin. Throw in the fact Vitali is 6’7 250 and a very strong accurate puncher with a phenomenal gas tank for a guy that size… just not a good fight at all for Sanders.

Now had that been Vitali in there instead of Wlad on that particular night… Yes Corrie would’ve done even better than he did the following year against Vitali. Had more moments. But nah… he’s not beating him. Other than landing enough of those bomb lefts and opening a cut like lennox did. Now THAT is possible! But outright blitzing and Vitali and scoring the knockout… don’t really see that happening.

Kinda crazy that Vitali’s brother is in a completely opposite situation against Sanders. Corrie is basically his Boogyman

I voted Sanders, but it’s more of a 50/50 fight.
