Dylan Biggs' next opponent is Frolev. After Frolev beat Saldivar comfortably, winning almost every round.

Still see quite a few seats available for the No Limit in Cairns on Wednesday night.

And I really wish that the Australian boxing media, would stop all the carry on about how Liam Wilson was robbed in his bout with Navarette due to the long count.
If you watch the video, Liam had navarette in trouble and then navarette put his glove on the canvas and Liam hit him again, causing navarette to roll over and the ref continues the count at four when Navarette stands up.
The ref should have either deducted a point or disqualified Liam.

Yes, but if I was living up that way and there was a chance to attend a show, I would be going.
But then again, depends on ticket prices, etc

Cairns is a long way from me. Kayo will be very convenient.....for a change because their free content is now almost nonexistent.

Yeah, I’m surprised this is on free to air. Perhaps No Limit have learned that people aren’t willing to fork out $50 to watch domestic level fights? Seems strange they charged $50 for that crappy Goodwin/Garside card a month ago yet put this card which is heaps better on free to air.

I also think it's a case of now that they've signed Liam Paro, they (No Limit) want to try to get his name out there more.
Although we all know who Liam is, I am guessing that many casual fans don't and this is an attempt to broaden his fan base.

Glen Jennings has said that Tszyu camp has taken a different preparation for Fundora rematch . Instead of basing themselves in Las Vegas ( apart from short trip for press conferences in Vegas early June ) they have prepared in Sydney and imported sparring partners like Mykal Fox and they will leave on July 4 for Vegas final preparation .

I think that is a good move that is what Kostya used to do as far as I know. If you can afford to bring the sparring partners to you I think it is better training in the comfort of your hometown.

The bigger issue was that Navarette clearly cheated on the scales.

Agreed and in the video, you can see someone touch the scales before Navarette and Liam both stepped on the scales.

Funny thing was that afterwards at a No Limit show where Dylan Biggs fought Nikita Tsyzu and Dylan's team brought their own calibrated scales to the weighin to ensure that everything was all above board.
And I can remember that flog, Peter Badal, saying on the broadcast how he'd never seen anything like it in professional boxing, blah, blah, blah, but yet if Liam's team had done the same, then something could have been said at the weighin, rather than afterwards through the media.

    https://www.foxsports.com.au/boxing...s/news-story/76a53dd495c0e4a98b49cf6631a15030

"Despite a scales drama threatening to break out, Nikita Tszyu and Dylan Biggs have both made weight ahead of their blockbuster clash for the Australian super welterweight title on Wednesday.

Prior to the weigh-ins kicking off, a second set of scales was brought on stage and sparked intense discussions from a number of figures.

Biggs’ manager Brendon Smith stated on Monday he just wanted to “ensure everything is done correctly”, which perhaps explains the chaotic scenes that The Courier Mail’s Peter Badel branded as “farcical.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen this in boxing, where you’ve got two sets of scales.
“You’ve got some concerns around the integrity of the event given they feel they’ve been stitched up over the walk outs.

“I think it’s farcical to have two sets of scales. There’s $4000 scales up there from No Limit and can do the job."

Agreed. I think preparing at home is the right approach this time around. Surprised they didn't try to line up Conor Wallace for some sparring. He's the same height as Beanstalk & has a similar style. Fights 'loose as a goose' & despite good boxing skills, isn't averse to getting in there & slugging it out. Thought he would have been a good choice particularly given he's been active lately. Mykal Fox is a good import to bring out here. He's also been active recently. I think Tim's other sparring partner is Taj Kagho who holds a win from the amateurs against Kirra Ruston. Despite being Australian-based, he's currently campaigning as a Kiwi amateur. Fights at the pointy end of the sport are won & lost on who the sparring partners are. I suspect that was part of the problem with the Bakhram fight. Too many mediocre Doodles in the line-up.
