Is Crawford really in the same class as Floyd? Or is he more Cotto, McGirt, Meldrick, and Benitez

Yes. Another question that will be answered. Will the weight have an adverse effect on Bud.

Floyd Mayweather would have a less than 5% chance of beating Canelo at 168 and a less than 1% chance of taking the fight

    5%?
Floyd beat CA rather easy. Not sure CA being bigger really would matter. Aside from size and power, Floyd was better at almost everything that night.

Mayweather wouldnt stand a chance at 168 vs Canelo
    Probably not even at 160

Size matters too much, especially for Mayweather who would not be able to hurt Canelo at 168 at all.

There are weight classes for a reason.

Crawford's a great fighter. Unfortunately we only have the eye test and thin resume. The others fought far better prime opponents and had the talent.

Floyd probably has a better resume than Crawford but that doesn't mean he's better than him or that he would beat him. It would be one of the extremely rare occasions Floyd would be at a reach disadvantage and that would be a big problem for him especially against a prime, skilled, harder punching, bigger elite fighter.

I never see one post for Floyd being the best ever on here, not recently. I'm a fan and I've never said it

I do see many lesser boxers in more recent times being called goat and couldn't lace his gloves

    I don't think he's Mayweather's level.

That doesn't mean he's not capable of beating Floyd though.

What you have our haven't seen is of no consequence to me, my guy.

And if you're not in the Floyd GOAT fan club, what do you care what I say about them?

Probably because Bud is undefeated and Canelo looks to be slipping. Plus, a real dull fight with Scull.
Bud is coming off dominant wins over Spence and a good win over Madrimov.

I can't get away from the weight classes tho, Bud is a big guy who drains down. Canelo has been up and down the weights but has settled at 168. He's solid, strong and technically good. Bud isn't going to have his usual advantages, and his power may not hold up.
We don't have a lot of evidence on how the weight will affect Bud. Going up a level can often bring advantages, but Bud is going up several. the added weight, the bigger man punching you back etc, etc, etc.

I think Bud's best chance is to use plenty of movement but that's not really his style
