Does Rahman actually get up from falling down face first? And say he does get up and beat the count… does he stagger enough for Eddie Cotton to call the fight off?? Or does he continue on??

I’ve always thought that had Corrie nailed him with that same shot away from those ropes… Rahman falls face first and waste enough energy getting up, he’d get finished with a barrage shortly after. It definitely was a hard shot. Rahman was actually arguing he didn’t get dropped. Lol :lol: don’t think Cotton would call it off with Rahman staggering. IDK… just a hunch :buenrollo:

Is that Eddie Cotton the ex fighter who fought Jose Torres? - helluva fighter, love that guy. I think if Corrie lands a left uppercut on anyone they will go down, getting up will vary but I think Rahaman would stay down or fall over a few seconds after rising... Corrie was a genuine freak, if he had a mindset like Marciano we wouldn't have a Klitschko era.

Yeah I’ve always said had Corrie Sanders had the same zoned in ‘obsessed’ work ethic Wladimir had after getting with Steward… lennox lewis would’ve had at least one more knockout loss on that record of his. And rahman SURE AS HELL would have. Lol!

Ibeabuchi and Tyson would’ve most likely been worn down by that nasty hand speed and power and stopped late. Vitali woulda always been a real tough one for Corrie though. The height, size, range, ability to see shots coming before they got off, strength… everything. Vitali imo was just THAT guy to Corrie. But… Not unbeatable against a talent like that.

    RIP Corrie. Died a hero

Rahman definitely got buzzed by that uppercut and got straightened up as a result, until the followup left hand on the side of the head put him over, and nearly out of the ring. Even still, Rahman was able to get his hands out to break the fall, recovered quickly, and very quickly returned the favor.

I think if it's in the middle of the ring, Rahman probably lands on all fours, given the way he was lurching forward with his arms extended. It was a great uppercut, but it wasn't a lights out shot.

Rahman probably gets up, collects himself and proceeds from there. Maybe Sanders wouldn't have been quite so reckless, but he was never the most defensively sound guy so maybe he still gets dropped and ultimately stopped.

Given the way Rahman immediately responded leads me to believe nothing really changes in the fight's outcome.
