When I said his power was gone during the Parker fight, when he failed to buzz Parker when he managed to hit flush, I was called a fanboy.

If you look at Joe Louis by the end he didn’t look quite the puncher… I think Wilders issue is his opponents not that his power has declined IMO.

Of course his power has diminished. Theres different forms of power. Wilders power came from his speed and explosiveness. Obviously if speed and explosiveness diminishes, then power does too.

He looked horrible against a total can who was not even punching back. Couldn't get drop him or get off clean punches, just sloppy holding and rabbit punching. He should have retired after the Zhang fight.

Dead legs, Old age. Too much damage - look at what Marquez was forced into against Juan Diaz he had to punch JD as he stepped in to do damage, couldn’t quite get what he used to into his shots without Diaz’s help anymore “pushing off” doesn’t work when you get to that stage.

Just watched the fight. I think Wilder easing into things and using his jab is a good sign. Throw him in with another tune up then maybe Ruiz?

Wilder bulldozed a load of C-grade opposition in a dog**** era, and people put his power on a pedastal next to Foreman and Louis. Wild times we live in.

MAybe... but he wasted all his talent. Him and his team. He threw more jabs tonight than he has in his last 10 fights which is a goos development but they were **** jabs.

The Can Krusha returnsssssss.......! I would take Dave Allen of the Fisher 2 fight to get Wilder out of there by the halfway point. Even washed AJ would do an Nganou on him and anyone in the top 10 right now would drive the final nail into that coffin like there was a sledge hammer behind it! Can you imagine how silly Itauma would make him look?

Chisora would be way too tough and aggressive, even at his age. I'm just trying to think of a top 15-20 guy he might just scrape by and I would fear for him against any of them. Wardley would to do Wilder what he did to Clarke and cave his face in, even Clarke would be a huge problem for him.
