I’m torn on this one. I think Chavez Jr didn’t really train for Silva. He’s had a lot of gifts throughout his career and he’s never had any notable wins above 160lbs at world level. Even at 160lbs he used his size as a massive advantage. His gas tank was never the best either.

So yes. Chavez Jr logically is not a solid cruiserweight contender, never will be but I’d definitely say if he’s trained and if he’s motivated he’s Jake Paul’s toughest opponent so far and has the tools to win.

Unfortunately I think he’ll have a good first 3-4 rounds then run out of steam and lose on points with a few scares later in the fight. I hope I’m wrong.
