    Not only does Zurdo have zero chance of beating Opetaia, he knows that he is likely to get very badly hurt.

    Not even Turki’s money will be enough to get this one to happen.

    Even if Opetaia fights Zurdo, the fight will be a one-sided beating, Zurdo is too weak to stand up to Opetaia...

    Zurdo said he "wants" it -- albeit in a lackluster, non-committal way. Then again, maybe he's just a lo-key guy at the mic.

    Anyway, let's see if Zurdo and his people hold out for unrealistic terms .... and, instead go for the easy $$ vs. Paul. If that happens, he should be called out.

    You know, I like the idea one of the Instagram posters had: Give Briedis a $hot at Paul, with the winner getting a shot at the winner of Opetaia-Zurdo.

    Anyway, I'll be pretty furious if Zurdo takes another fight before an Opetaia unification. If it's Paul, I'll certainly be understanding -- because of the $$ -- but I'll still be furious....

    Jai will let him have the 50% and there will be nowhere to hide. And Zurdo should be respected for that decision, because I just cannot see a route to victory - underscores just how good Jai is.

    Has Turki ever commented on this? If he wants it, it’ll probably happen. Otherwise no way. This is one of those that only Saudi money will make happen.

    I hope he can unify the division and become undisputed but I can't say I'm looking forward to any mandatories being made for him to fight.
