The rematches of the most famous fights in boxing. Although not as talked about and often overlooked by their FOTY predecessors they weren’t too far behind in terms of excitement and there were still some memorable moments as well.

Out of the 4 rematches which would you say is the best one in your opinion?

    1. Bowe vs Holyfield 2
    2. Leonard vs Hearns 2
    3. Chavez vs Taylor 2
    4. Corrales vs Castillo 2

I don't remember much about Taylor vs Chavez 2 but I'd automatically rate it above Corrales vs Castillo 2 since that fight ended very briefly and Castillo was also overweight and had an unfair advantage.

Chavez vs Taylor 2 is actually a very good action fight surprisingly considering how faded Meldrick Taylor was at that time. He still showed blazing hand speed, managed to put on a very admirable performance and still gave Chavez a tough fight before crumbling. Round 6 was especially exciting and arguably round of the year. I’d say give it a rewatch.

Corrales-Castillo II wasn't good imo because Castillo failed to make weight. Tapia-Ayala II was a way better fight IMO.

Hearns-Leonard 2 was probably the most entertaining but Bowe-Holyfield 2 was more important and a very good fight as well. I think there’s a big drop off after that - if things had been on a level playing field Castillo-Corrales 2 could have been another classic but Castillo’s added weight made the difference.

Dear God, we sometimes forget just how good it was... let the Subs (S-HW's), take note...

in this BOWE career summary video, they are ALL in it, the Super's including Usyk might get a lesson in True Big Boy Boxing.

Corrales vs Castillo 2 still had some good action but the sudden KO accompanied by Castillo's failure to make weight did leave a sour taste of a fight that could have been almost as good as the first if it was a more fair fight.

I gotta give Tapia vs Ayala 2 a rewatch. Been such a long time since I've seen that one but I recall that one being just as controversial as the first one with Tapia getting robbed in that fight as well.

All excellent but Leonard-Hearns II is my favourite.

My favorite part of that fight came between rounds, after Taylor had hit Chavez low several times, and Julio gave him the death glare as he got ready for the bell.

it was surprising. Tommy took punches and looked durable after looking fragile against Kinchen. Makes me think Kinchen was stronger than we all thought.
