You just moved the metric from number of fights to number of years as a pro. Nobody was comparing their career trajectories, I was just giving a little context, and the fact is Jakes opponent in his 12th pro fight was better than Floyds. You didn't like that so moved the goal posts. And I'm not a Jake Paul fan. Believe it or not you can be reasonable towards a fighter without being a fan.

Not an active pro boxer and not a cruiser weight.

I don't think an inactive Chavez who was well out of his best weight was better than Floyd's opponent Angelo Nunez who was an active pro the same weight as Floyd that had never been stopped and Floyd stopped him in the 3rd round.

I didn't move the goal posts, I also added context. Their careers are not comparable at all.

Good win for Ramirez, now there is the reunification fight with Opetaia, and the Australian is the clear favorite in my opinion. It was a good reunion, Schofield - Farmer, Griffin - Rodriguez and Curiel - Rodriguez were entertainment match.

Any cruiserweight in the top 50 stops Chavez Jr in 5-8 rounds at this stage and that is not including the several fighters from 175lbs and 160lbs who also would. This was by no means the worst shape Chavez Jr has been in, but he certainly wasn’t at his fittest either, the commentators even said an S&C coach quit half way through his camp because they felt he wasn’t taking it seriously.

The fact is, despite all of this Chavez Jr won 4 rounds on my card not including a very close 4th round. Jake Paul has looked a big puncher up until now against the opposition he’s faced but his power looked none existent vs. Chavez Jr who actually knows how to defend himself like a boxer and has a standard of toughness.

What Paul has accomplished in boxing is respectable in terms of the average person who enters a gym but it shouldn’t even be mentioned in terms of world level boxing, it’s ridiculous how far off that he is. Plus he’s clearly juiced to the gills. As soon as Paul boxes someone with half a pulse, which he will have to at some point, someone like Viddal Riley, he will be absolutely destroyed and stopped in about 5 rounds.

He’s beaten people from different sports, a lot older, smaller but most importantly inactive. It takes a lot more than 1 training camp to get in proper shape especially for people who are older.

Paul is at a good standard for say unlicensed boxing, but even across the UK there are a few boxers on the unlicensed circuit at cruiser who could beat him.

Holy ****. There are people defending him fighting the likes of Tyson and Chaves Jr as legit. Comparing it to what other boxers do. No, other boxers do not pay a grandfather with all sorts of physical ailment to a fight. They don't pay a smaller guy who is semi retired, with legal, and metal problem, dragging him up in weight.

At least Chavez Jr wasn't excessively old. Same age as Usyk.

Chavez said he was gonna fight on.

Imagine if he put together a decent winning streak? Yuck. It would make Paul look good.

Are you alluding to prime Mike or the one who I'll admit was probably on the downward slope who Jake schooled? And even if he was past his best word on the street is Jake has Parkinson's so it all evens out

A shot pro boxer who has had substance abuse problems in the past and had already lost to Anderson Silva who isn`t a pro boxer.

Twice as slow and half as trained, Usyk keeps himself in fantastic shape Chavez has constantly abused his body with drugs and has looked shot for years.
