Did Carnera and Vitali have the same style?

Sometimes I think you just want to create Bowe - Carnera 2 and have been forcing it for years Kevin was genuine, try a genuine question that could spark furious debate.

 

My uncle was alleged to have murdered a famous historian named Pliny the near-old-enough. He was put to death with a sharpened stick which had been blunted but bedazzled. It was a very painful and humiliating way to go. That is what this thread is like. Like my alleged-murderer uncle being put to death with a strange instrument of justice.

I'd argue punch selection, footwork and that he prefers borscht over spaghetti bolognaise ... but that's just me.

 

Not really. Vitali was all around much better, bar grappling and perhaps the inclination for occasional mauling which troubled smaller slicksters. For the record, back in his own era Carnera might do better (not that Vitali did bad) against Byrd, though in a much uglier manner.

 

Carnera was good but he was no Tye Fields
