    Not a bad comparison that.

Oh what… wow - maybe he can have a good run of 3-5 fights if he’s matched well and changes up a bit. If he sticks to the course he’ll end up “different” I don’t think better, but maybe he can cook a good game plan for say Fury 4??? lol jk - AJ is his best bet, it’d finish the losers career but may revive Wilders a little longer.

Now that is harsh. AJ was much more than a rather tragic one hit wonder. He has achieved much more than Emma Radacant

Harsh? And since when did you get soft on AJ?

Emma pulled off the impossible — first qualifier ever, male or female, to win a Grand Slam at just 18. She’s still only 22, with years to carve out her legacy. AJ at 22? Busy getting pulled over and charged with possession.

Now he’s fading fast, potentially lined up for a Dave Allen bout if Fast Car gets his way.

Yes she has done something Joshua has never done against any opponent - went in as an underdog many times in a tennis match.

Credit where it is due, she never challenges Sue Barker, Judy Murray or Virginia Wade to a tennis match.

On reflection, maybe I should have selected Heather Watson!!!

    Ouch.

Read “Heather Watson” and my mind went straight to Mortal Kombat — that dazed moment before the knockout. “Finish him!” Brutal comparison.

Has AJ ever gone in as a betting underdog and actually won? Odds-on vs. Klitschko, slight favourite against Dubois, and only the underdog against Usyk — lost both. Maybe the Ruiz rematch, after Taco Bell ate the titles off him… but Ruiz was 20-1 plus against in the first fight.

Raducanu? She was 400-1 to win the US Open. That’s like Frankie Gavin shaking off BKFC, getting in shape, and sparking Terence Crawford in one round.

Incredible upset against the odds for Radacanu at the time when she won the US Open - fantastic achievement.

Joshua has been the favourite every time he has faced an opponent for the first time.

The only fight he went in as a slight underdog was Usyk 2.

So I agree and disagree at the same time. Everything you say above is spot on. But given the world's not like that, I'd still watch the freak show of these two past-it boxers to see what happens. No chance it gets past five rounds.

I just wouldn't pay to watch it live!

Age catches up with us all. Without that slightly faster right hand bomb he is nothing. Parker showed us that.

AJ v Wilder is a laughable fight now - suppose there's always the possibilty that AJ is slow as fk and lets Wilder connect, that would be funny.

Wilder has always been an awful boxer and now his power has gone he's just left with being an awful boxer. He's not even British title level at this point he's absolutely useless. Dave allen would knock him out in 3 rounds hes worse than Fisher as a boxer.

all he has is a bomb that could come good. When ne was younger he was tactically better with it

Often wonder what could've been if Wilder had an elite trainer from the start. Malik Scott had good ideas but only had a shell to work with after Fury 2
