Dubois is on the juice 100%, probably has more access to the goods than aj. He is taking trips to Brazil, this version of Dubois smokes prime joshua

The same green Dubois that made Joe Joyce's jab look like a prime Larry Holmes and Kevin Lerena look like Earnie Shavers? I'm not sure about that. Whyte has never been elite, but Dubois' days at the top of the division are numbered too, give it 12 months and I think I'll be proved right. Joshua and Dubois are both British fighters elevated way above their station; they've that in common, but Joshua, between 2015 and 2018, would have beaten Miller and Hrgovic in the same manner Dubois did.

I've always respected AJ as a leader of men and role model for the English yoof, but at times been critical of him losing to an obese LWH journeyman fill-in despite having the most incredible physical advantages the world has ever seen in a HW title fight.

Having said that, AJ is better than Dubious. The Usyk fights prove that, I think. Dubious got stopped on a jab to a cruiser. Usyk is an ATG albeit with atrocious tattoos. But getting done like that is in some ways worse than being TKO'd on your feet by a fat man.

Dubious got AJ at 35 which is jaded to say the least. I would say this matchup could go either way at any age, but I would expect AJ to get the better of Daniel in a series, both in their prime.

The other thing is that AJ will likely make a better rap album and possibly be able to write his own small forward to a ghost-written auto-bio. I would say that Daniel's rap songs would probably be funnier though. We would have to wait until both release rap albums though, as you never know what other hidden talents these great men might have.

AJ is better than everyone when it comes to hypothetical fights. His fans have him beating prime Fury, prime Wilder, prime Dubois...in the rematch of course. The only time he comes unstuck is when he has to go out there and convincingly win the fights. Otherwise? Virtually unbeatable.

Some folks are so helplessly deluded they still believe Joshua is "levels above" the guy who outboxed, outfought, and savagely beat him down in his last fight. These people cannot be helped. I would pay to fund a study researching their minds.

Prime for prime I think AJ was slightly better, but theres not a lot in it. Their fight was a 35 year old in the late stage of his career vs an exceptionally battle tested 27 year old at his peak.

I am going to do something radical, here. I think they are both carving out legacies and are both pretty good. Yes, Dubois won the head to head, but Joshua is on his way down. Also, Joshua has the better overall resume so far, and did better against Usyk (their best common opponent).

I don't think it is entirely fair to call either a quitter, but Joshua has no quit in him at all. He just doesn't recover well, but he always gets up.

Dubois took a knee in the Joyce fight, but it was probably a good call to protect the eye. I think he was more exhausted than anything in the Usyk fight.

Anyway, we are very fortunate to be in an era when we have Usyk, Parker, Joshua, Dubois, and maybe still Fury working on significant heavyweight legacies. Hopefully a couple other than Usyk obtain "greatness."

This. Also AJ is 35 and has been competing at a high level for much longer than Dubois. Lets see what Dubois over the next couple of years, but if I had to bet he'll fall off completely well before turning 35. AJ at least still has a couple of fights left in him.

Joyce KO, Usyk KO, questionable officiating during the Lerena fight plus the 3 knockdownd. Classic "Who has he beat in their prime" question.

No idea? Who would say something like that? Delusional people maybe.

For me, DD would win against AJ every time.

Dubois is the much more aggressive fighter, who takes more risks and also has the better chin
+ Sparring partners and former opponents who have been in the ring against both have stated that Dubois hits significantly harder.

Even before Ruiz, it was only a matter of time and Dubois would have exposed these weaknesses too.

    Agreed.

Arguably after Usyk #2, unless it's mega close, it's arguably clear that Joshua did better than Dubois given Usyks age... Being green excuses Dubois' first loss to Usyk, to some extent, and even the manner of it maybe - but lose badly against an older and more declined Usyk and it won't compare favourably.

Anthony Joshua was a top heavyweight in his day. There's no doubt about that.

But Daniel Dubois is better than him now, clearly. He proved it in the ring.
