Prime Ali vs. Vitaly would be one of the most one-sided fights of all time with Ali clearly ahead in almost all rounds.


I won't comment on Wlad anymore. I'm just glad he retired. Vitaly was at least still entertaining.
There's no fight from Wlad that I like, not even when the golf amateur destroyed him in two rounds

Something that would never have happened to Ali,
not even with Parkinson's disease Sanders wouldn't be able to do that against Ali.

Well sure Ali doesn't have a Sanders like loss on his record but this is a different matchup and styles can make fights.

 

Ali did not take away jabs? It was his downfall against Norton, it was why it was so close because he sucked at just that.

Both beat him and make it look easy. Ali doesn't have the skills to deal with two longer bigger fighters who can just keep him at range all night while he doesn't have the front foot skills to get in close on them. But of course people here will overrate Ali and create fanfic about things he can do that he has never in his life actually done.

I don't think Vitali looks good doing it, I think @cross_trainer has it right however the fight goes... but Wlad drums him out if he fights or he has a silent agreement and Ali just survives.

Interesting. I watched that fight recently Vitali won like every round (I think I gave Donald like one round I think but he hit the deck 4 times and was stopped late )
