Do you mean that Parker and Kabayel are better than Fury?

 

I wish people wouldn't put them together as if they're equivalent - Parker is deserving and overdue... Kabayel is more deserving than most, but he's not nearly as proven or as deserving as most seem to put him down for, IMHO.

Still... Yes, both are more deserving than Fury right now - just Parker way more than Kabayel.

 

Parker is most deserving, followed by Kabayel. However, I suspect it's Kabayel who is the better and would give usyk the sterner test

It's just about what's fair. Do I think Parker beats Usyk? Likely not, but he's earned the right to try. His odds won't be any worse than Ruiz vs Joshua or Douglas vs Tyson, that's fir sure

Why doesn't Fury fight Aj? Or If he really thinks Aj is too low, go fight Kabayel or someone fresh in the top 10.i always backed him as a fighter, but I'm sick to death of the guy. Just stay retired or fight someone else in the top 10. He doesn't deserve another crack at usyk unless he beats a top contender

Now imagine this. Parker fights the winner of Dubois/usyk and Fury fights Agit, then the winners can meet. That is the only way I can see Fury earning another shot. Even fighting Aj is not enough, as the winner doesn't deserve another go, unless they beat parker or Kabayel

 

Hold on, if Usyk fights Fury for the 3rd time, he sets the difficulty level higher compared to Parker/Kabayel fights. Which means, Usyk is choosing the harder fight by fighting Fury, am I right?

 

It's a no from me.
No need for a third fight. It sounds like a money bout rather than a necessary one.
And even IF it did happen (and I have no interest in it), provided Usyk is still champ, Fury should have to earn his shot by beating a top contender first. Retiring and sitting on the sidelines should not be enough.

I'm going to be irked at Usyk if this is true.

On one hand I get it, if this is a Turki backed fight and another massive payday. On another hand... come the **** on. Are they going to just ice Parker out?

Parker should get the winner of Usyk-Dubois.

 

In terms of who deserves it, I agree, even though Fury showed he’s competitive at Usyk’s level, there have been fighters waiting on the sideline who have indeed earned their title fight.

Fury vs Usyk may be the best fight from a fan perspective, but a few deserve their chance over Fury for now from the perspective of the system.

The the longer he is ducking AJ, the slimmer his chances I am convinced. The right time was somewhere just after Wilder 2. Since then the decay has been steady. Both are not far from being completely washed. Prime Fury would make easy work of AJ, but he has become way to easy to hit, and seems to become easier to hurt with every fight now. The big KO is coming, and I would not be surprised at all if AJ lands that punch. I don’t rate AJ at all- but he surely still has some power shots that can hurt the current Fury. And I think he damn knows it.
