Looks like they are throwing Bena a softball in hopes of an easy win and to gain more expierience at LHW.

Ask Beterbiev how much of a soft ball Yarde is. That was arguably fight of the year. A barn burner until yarde was stopped late when he leading on two scorecards. Yarde has never been easy for anyone. He is inconsistent but never easy. David keeps taking dangerous fights.

Hearn said Callum Smith priced himself out btw. Another duck.

Yarde is a softball at world level; he's never heard the final bell against any opponent of note. He would've ended up eating through a straw if Tunde hadn't thrown the towel in against Artur. The only reason he was ahead on the scorecards was that he was fighting in his home country.

Beterbiev controlled the range for 90% of the fight, and once he put his foot down, he flattened him. This is a keep busy fight for Benavidez and nothing more. This is a fight for Benavidez to grow his LHW status, and Yarde will get stopped again. A decent fight but not as dangerous as Morrell was or Smith would've been.

Benavidez showed improvement against Morrell so I favor him hear.
Yarde is a good powerful guy but his career is strange he either fights mid to low level guys or the best guys in the division lol. I actually like this better than Benavidez Smith as I think Smith is a choker on the world stage Yarde at least has a crack and I wont be surprised if he manages to drop Benavidez.

Everything you said is the opposite of reality. Beterbiev did not control anything, it was a back and forth war, which is why is was arguably the fight of the year, and Yarde can't be a softball when he was ahead on the score cards into round 8. he was ahead because he was out boxing beterbiev.

That fight and the Kovalev fight are incompatible with Yarde being a softball at world level. Just because he has not heard the final bell does not mean he is a softball. The fight is on youtube maybe refresh your memory. It was one of Beterbiev's toughest fights.

Yarde wasn't a softball for Beterbiev but he will be for Benavidez imo. Yarde finally winning a title after losing in 3 world title events would be a fairytale ending for Yarde only the chances of that happening are as likely as a fairytale coming true.

Benavidez is a really good boxer who can punch. He will stop Yarde who is about to face the best fighter he has faced.

Yes I believe so and I think we shall find out when he fights both Bivol and Beterbiev next year.

The way I see it he spends his career fighting Lyndon Arthur and nobodies until he gets his totally undeserved title shots. Not sure I know any fighter in history who's had so many title fights having done so little to deserve them.
