Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury III planned for April 2026

It should be obvious to anyone who cares to know that Fury is basically a very deteriorated version of the fighter that he used to be. Humans simply are not designed to be as large as he is so he has deteriorated much faster than smaller people do. His prime was over ages ago and the fighter who may be stepping into the ring in April 2026 has very little in common with the fighter who once upon a time won a world boxing championship.

 

Tbf to fury he himself fought Wilder a 3rd time after convincingly knocking him out in the second and people still wanted to see the third. Plus it turned out to be a great fight. Usyk and Fury (even at this point in their careers) are still the two best HWs going imo and I would happily watch a third encounter between them.

 

Yes, it turned out to be a great fight, but no one wanted to see that shyte. We were pissed off that Wilder sabotaged the undisputed fight between Fury and AJ. Also, Fury was 1-0-1 against Wilder, Usyk is 2-0 against Fury.

 

Officially yes but the first fight was never considered a draw by boxing fans, everyone had it 2-0 for Fury before the third fight and in contrast both Fury usyk fights were close decisions.

 

First was a close decision, but Usyk won it clearly. Second one wasn't close, as Usyk won by 4 rounds.

 

The first 5 rounds of it were good. After that it turned into a repeat of the 2nd fight with the conclusion it was heading toward before the fight was stopped.

I might be misremembering, but there wasn't much enthusiasm for the Fury v Wilder 3 fight (they may have even taken a loss on the event).

I remember, fans started to get behind the card once they added Ajagba v Sanchez and Helenius v Kownacki 2. For its time I remembering it being a really good heavyweight card (personally, those two undercard fights were the main reason I got the PPV).
