He could have been a solid top 20 but nothing more. He didn't have a very good win which would have shown what he was really all about. However, he displayed a great chin and stamina against Lewis. His footwork was quite good too but his power wasn't remarkable at all.
He was what he could have been - a continental champion. He was not an outstanding amateur or professional. Tough, solid, brave. He was already losing weight with Lewis. If he had been healthy, he might have won a few more fights, but the best were still beyond his reach.
