Crolla fighting like he's confident in the KO being a sure thing. Lucky for him, Wilkinson has been stopped twice and by not terribly big punchers in Dean Sutherland and Corey McCulloch.

 

Crolla managed to lay his heavy hands on Wilkinson a bit more but still 10-9 close for the Scot on my card.

I was about to say this is Wilkinson's fight to lose if he can avoid the canvas the rest of the way, but he is starting to ship leather and now has a bloodied nose. If fatigue is setting in and he can't move as he did in the first three rounds it's going to be a long march to see the final bell.

 

Wilkinson boxing Crolla's head off for the most part, but taking just enough damage to keep it suspenseful.

I was just about to say that Crolla, barring a hometown robbery, is now in need of a KO after being schooled well past the halfway mark. Wilkinson then hurts Crolla badly and drops him with that surgical 1-2!

10-8 Wilkinson, you could well have it 50-44 at this point. Being in Manchester, the judges have probably at least given Crolla one round or two.

William's a fun brawler, but not a speck on Anthony's arse, as it turns out. Not half his brother's ability.

 

Going to be 20 minutes downtime now before the main card goes live. It will kick off with the pro debut of Hearns' ballyhooed "the next Anthony Joshua", eighteen year old Leo Atang.

 

Good on coach David McAllister; he saw the glaring flaws in Crolla's game and trained Wilkinson up for them accordingly. Perfect game plan, just had to have a little faith in Frasier's durability.
