I debated on whether I should count this because the question is more subjective. I decided to answer it but I think you would have a better chance at figuring out who it via more objective questions although I don't want to backseat too much.

In my opinion, no my boxer never beat an ATG.

Unfortunately question 2 rules out Benny Paret. My boxer did not win a world title at a division higher than lightweight. Benny Paret was the world welterweight champion.
