Some fighters excel while they're on the ropes and they take full advantage of the counter opportunity. What are some stand out showings of a fighter knocking down or perhaps even stopping a fighter while having their back up against the ropes?

Derek Chisora's knockdown of Joe Joyce. Chisora has his back against the ropes and does this thing where he bounces off them to add momentum, lands one of those overhand right-hook haymaker punches he throws, decks Joyce.

Think he decked Wallin with the same thing.

Lora lured him into his trap and Sanchez didn't see it coming. For a guy who only had 45% KO ratio Lora's left hook was really spiteful.

Everyone needs to check out the 9th round of Jose Medel against Jesus Pimental just to see what Medel could do off the ropes.

    Does Ali-Foreman count?

The KO started with Ali’s back to the ropes although he was moving towards ring centre by the time Foreman went down.

Tyson had been bailed up on the ropes and this clip shows the moment he had just moved off the ropes to land a scything uppercut to put Douglas down.

Following the real time landing of the punch, there are two excellent slo mo replays from different angles showing the punch.

Wow. That was a beauty. I had to watch it twice - I missed the counter right the first time. Lol.

That guy didn’t even have his own legs under him when he threw that punch. Sensational.
