Big glass clean up at Oly Park this morning.

 

Iman Khataev popped dirty and his up and coming fight might be cancelled.

Thing is it's from a test he took in April 2024. His team claim it's a minute amount from a test he took during ramadan that year.
He hasn't tested positive for a banned substance in subsequent fights and in the lead up to this fight.

 

Yeah, doesn't seem quite right that if he tested positive over a year ago and has fought since then and tested negative and its only now, three days prior a bout that this has come to light.

Surely, the turn around time for a test is only a week or two....not a year.

 

Qld pull off another Houdini.

Didn't see it, but yes, disappointed to hear about that one today. Doodles up to no good by the sounds of it. Every time they rip someone off to preserve the winning records of their own guys, they diminish the sport elsewhere. Not that they give a toss, I suspect.

On the plus side...a belated congratulations to Cherneka "Sugar Neekz" Johnson on her victory yesterday - Undisputed Bantamweight Champion of the World. The Doodles facilitated that one so maybe we shouldn't sook. Cherneka is bringing home the bling.

 

Khataev got the short end of the stick but probably lucky to be fighting seeing as though he failed a drug test a while back.

Reports both the Panthers and Eels players had to remove glass shards after their game at Accor on Sunday. Seems like that flimsy NSW glass splintered in to more pieces than seen before last Wednesday.
