Floyd Mayweather Jr disses Roy Jones Jr by watching his KO losses on social media

The irony of this post. Glass Jaw Roy was a NOTORIOUS cherry picker its how he ended up fighting Ruiz. Ruiz was a paper belt holder. Lennox Lewis was THE Heavyweight Champion.

 

I've never been a particular Mayweather fan. I find a lot of his fights quite dull, I don't really like his personality and I think he cherry picked a lot, particularly in the latter part of his career. And I am a big Jones fan.
However, while I consider RJJ a better fighter, Floyd has the greater overall career. Jones went on waay to long and Mayweather aged much better in the ring.
A bit grim seeing them both verbally spar back and forth in public mind.

 

How are Floyd and Jones going to make money out of this twitter beef?

 

Prime Roy was something else,never a fan of Mayweather but he has his big wins also. Roy just could not walk away from Boxing after his Heavyweight win despite numerous warnings from a few sources about what would happen and they were all proven correct ! Prime Roy could go H2H in any era as for Mayweather I’m not so sure as well as the fact he liked the odds in his favour .

 

Roy was a far better combo puncher and had more power.

 

Fans of Floyd aren't fans of RJJ.

I wonder why.......

 

Both are irritating and irresistibly dislikeable, but I'll still side with RJJ.

RJJ more athletically gifted (than basically anyone who ever put on a glove), Floyd far better in terms of technique, skill, etc.

 

Firstly, this is probably partly to do with Roy being Russian and the current political climate. Let's all stop with the anti-Russian Russophobicism.

But I also feel Money needs to have more respek for bruvvas. He's always dissing dem. How can you break the chains of institutional oppressionism if you put each other down?

But as for the struggle for dominance here between them, the problem here is the weight classes of boxing giving these small fighters a delusional sense of where they sit. The reality is that Roy would destroy Money in a fight and also has a better chin. Money would not take the shots Roy did, particularly at SMW+ and would be getting KO'd by the same ones. The idea Money could handle shots from Tarver, Enzo etc. is laughable. He was rocked by Mosley and wouldn't even go toe to toe with midget Pacman.

 

Funny how the RJJ fans think the exact opposite though.

Floyd fans and RJJ fans never seem to intersect. Hmmmm one does wonder why (not)....
