How would a 1995/96 Mike Tyson deal with a press conference with Jarrell Miller?

In the presser/Q&A phase 1996 Tyson would probably ignore Miller and not give two s**ts but he would go bats**t if Miller pushed him in the face-off.

Tyson Fury might have been interesting as well.

 

I think he would get under Mike’s skin. Miller would probably make fun of Mike’s voice, his getting bullied as a kid , **** conviction etc. Wouldn't do him any good come fight night though.

 

Mike would threaten to simulate one of his prison encounters on him.

 

Miller is twice Tysons size and has muay thai and kickboxing up his sleeve. If a brawl breaks out Iron Mike is getting thai plummed and kneed into oblivion.

Imo the thing about Mike at that time is that when the mood was on him, he was an evil shitheel for real. Maybe he had reason to be. Not here to calculate that. When he talked **** about doing harm to your children, he meant it.

OG Big Baby always struck me as an Ali type, tounge-in-cheek talker of smak.

Mike would just have said some scary **** and then beat Big Baby to a pulp.

 

Tyson Fury would have either been best mates with him or verbally assaulted and intimidated him brutally. No doubt the size difference would have been brought up not necessarily by Fury but to the point where Mike would have been annoyed and said something that he likes them big and Fury would not hold his tongue. I'd expect Fury to be very calm and technically accurate and fair about how the fight could go which would make Mike uneasy because Mike isn't an idiot when it comes to the technicalities of boxing. Having Fury say he's going to get laid on by mike early or grind him down late would hit a nerve. The truth is the knife that digs the deepest which is what Fury did to Wlad and Wlad just dug a hole for himself verbally with Fury.
