Sanders dropped Rahman with an uppercut in the 3rd and then Rahman dropped him in the same round shortly after so again I don't understand the point you're making ?

You suggested Sanders was very unlucky and would win 9 times out of 10 ? How was he unlucky ? Its not like Rahman got beat up round after round and landed a hail mary punch. He was in the fight the whole fight and scored 2 knockdowns in the fight.

Rahman would've been the 2nd best win on Sanders resume so its not like Sanders is a proven H2H monster he's largely unproven in regards to wins against top opposition.

So there's nothing to suggest Sanders would win 9 times out of 10 vs Rahman.

Just another case of "How it was" v. "How you think it should've been."

You told me you saw the fight, well, don't you think Sanders won rounds 1 and 2 and was clearly winning the third 10-8 until with 10 seconds left he went for the KO and Rahman countered him? HERE is when i said Sanders would have beaten him 9 out of 10 in this situation with Rahman hurt. THEN SANDERS WAS HURT AT THE END OF THE THIRD ROUND AND THIS WAS ANOTHER FIGHT
I never said Sanders wins 9 out of 10.

I'M NOT IN THE MOOD OF CONFRONTING ANYONE, I WAS JUST GIVING MY OPINION OF WHAT THE FIGHT WAS LIKE

Vitali goes without a loss against this group.

Best fight would be Jimmy Young, who himself is a slightly better version of Byrd. Vitali had Byrd outclassed over the course of their fight The rotor tear happened in round two and just got worse as the fight progressed. Many people think Byrd was doing good later in the fight as the shoulder started to freeze up. Near the end of the fight Byrd may have stolen some rounds (contributing 1 or 2 rounds to the whole 5 or 6 rounds Vitali lost throughout his entire career)

Think about that for a minute. Vitali almost never lost a round in 43 fights, and was never down on the canvas, he only lost rounds when maimed.

A healthy Vitali is probably in the top 3 H2H heavies in history. But he is the kind of fighter that gets injured often being a high volume slugger, wear and tear . VK was a champion kickboxer before he became a heavyweight boxing champ so he was already high mileage.

People think he was younger when he fought Lewis than he was, he was 32 and Lewis was 37.

Vitali fought in 16 world title fights, winning 14 and losing 2 from injuries in fights he was winning on the cards.

I do not say any of the others on the list that could beat him over 12 or 15 rounds. This is how I rank the fights vs VK

1 .Joe Bugner - Best athlete and natural fighter, had the size to hang. So he is Corrie Sanders but without the speed or killer instinct.
    2. Jimmy Young - Could he win, no, steal rounds...sure.
    3. Ron Lyle - Good at everything , not great
    4. Jerry Quarry , speed and a punchers chance...yeah, not happening past round 4
    5. Norton - Champion heart great counter puncher. Not gonna be enough though.

None of this is dissimilar to

    Sanders
    Byrd
    Peter
    Adamek
    Chisora

There are no Lennox Lewis's in the list ( who he was beating as well)

Do you ever write a post where doing research on a fighter just makes you stop and go ...damn.

Yes you gave your opinion which i disagreed with.

You're suggesting Rahman got lucky and Sanders would win 9 times out of 10 when there's nothing to suggest he would in regards to his resume or in the fight itself.

Sanders is always going to be dangerous in the early going but he himself can be vulnerable and at times leaves him wide open.

Sanders was a hot and cold fighter and wasn't always in shape so i certainly wouldn't bank him on being able to beat Rahman 90 percent of the time.

You don't have type in caps it's i just don't agree with you.

For the third time I tell you, don't change my words. Do you have comprehension problems?
You don't need to tell me who Rahman and Sanders are. I saw most of their fights and some of them at the time, which I doubt you could have. I see you're fairly new here and a bit disrespectful. Are you over 25? I don't argue with children.

No one is arguing you're the one typing in caps and getting flustered for literally no reason.

You're accusing me of being disrespectful ? Yet I haven't done anything to you ? Other than not agree with your assessment on the fight.

How it was is Byrd was higher ranked than any opponent Vitali beat before his semi retirement.

And Byrd would be the best name that Vitali has beaten at any point in his career.

Whatever the reason is that Vitali didn't face Byrd that doesn't change the above.

It's a shame Vitali got injured so much he could have done a lot more.

Young is the only one that really stands a chance, and he most likely loses a decision via being too passive. The rest get absolutely ran over ranging from low - mid difficulty.

Wild to think Vitali who was the 2nd best of “the worst HW era” is almost unanimously picked to wreck the 70s.

Vitali could be the most overrated heavyweight ever, looking at his poor resume.

Vitali stans think he was the only boxer ever to throw a 1- 2

In reality he was no better or worse than gerrie coetzee
