Scores are crazy. No way that was an 11-1 10-2 fight.

Wow....was there even another guy in the ring besides Stevenson? The judges didn't see him.

Scorecards absurdly wide. The fix was in for sure.

Zepeda should really work on his level changes after this fight. He does mix up shots to the head and body, but he doesn't position his torso (and as a result his head) low enough when targeting the body, and as a result he punches downwards which leaves him open to the head a lof of times. Shakur noticed and countered him a ton for this. His lack of jab variety hurt him even further due to this.

Level changes should be more squat like, think Miguel Canto and Jose Napoles. It would also make his feints harder to read, as it could set up more overhands and would leave Shakur more hesitant as he wouldn't quite know what's coming. Just shoulder rolling shots is easier when the other is there to be hit when he's punching the body.

    I didn't see a 10-2 or 11-1 fight at all.

Depends what you prefer. Zepeda's volume or Shakur's generally cleaner but more spurty work.

I notice that some had Shakur ahead after 4 rounds. Shame on you. Shame on you. Zepeda never had a chance with scorecards like that. There was 2 scorecards after 4. Either 3-1 Zepeda or 4-0 Zepeda. If you want to be extremely generous to Shakur it was 2-2 at absolute best

    I think Shakur edged it

Notice how when Shakur throws and hit gloves which he did often too those are scoring shots but when Zepeda does the same they're not. Funny that, eh?

ROFL at those scorecards. They had it almost a shutout. Criminals

Great fight Shakur fought right in front of Zepeda all night. Zepeda did good he brought the pressure, but Shakur just landed the cleaner punches and in most cases I will always score Quality over Quantity.
