Jacobs or Derevyanchenko didn't push him like Canelo. Canelo was on a different level. A level that GGG couldn't rise to.

You folks don't understand the high cheekbones of Eurasian people like GGG.

That is why he a lot of times looked marked up around the eyes

Oscar handled Berlanga with ease at the presser I thought. In fact Berlanga seemed genuinely angry with ODLH once his prop show ran out, on the other hand Oscar just laughed at and dismissed Berlanga (talk to me when you win a world title).

Berlanga is an ordinary fighter and total goose of a person. ODLH is levels above as a fighter and as a troll.

No, he handled Canelo both times, the 2nd fight being tougher. Not rising is Canelo vs Berlanga or Canelo vs Munguia. GGG actually beat Canelo twice as witnessed by all the ringside reporters whom only 4 or so thought Canelo won, and thats both fights combined. Golovkin outlanded Canelo twice, as well, and by alot. GGG couldn't overcome the politics though. A Kazakhstani can't be the face of boxing, especially an old one. That's just the way it is.

I agree, they were the 3 opponents who did better against GGG, but he had won against all 3 (with Canelo I mean the first 2 fights obviously), with Derevyanchenko it was the closest fight in my opinion.

IMO, he greatly improved his technique and power after the first Golovkin fight. He used to be an arm puncher, and had a tendency to land with the inside of his glove. He was also focused a bit more on speed than punching through the target.
Hatton fight is a great example of this:

But I don't mean to really disagree with you. He hits hard, but yet is not a KO puncher. Only a few guy have been dismissive of his power in the ring, like Bivol, and that says a lot.

I think with Johnathon Banks Golovkin became more calm and calculating with a little less fire than under Abel Sanchez. He was still powerful and dangerous, but had a slightly less aggressive style. I think that the Golovkin that fought Canelo in the first two fights might have got him out of there, but im not sure, it could be strictly be Derevyanchenko's style against an older fighter.

Canelo shouldn't have any problem with Sheeraz though, i don't believe.

Not remotely an "excuse" is it? It's just pointing out facts

Didn’t Banks come in after the first GGG CLENELO fight?

No, don't you remember? Abel Sanchez told him he was losing in the corner during the rematch.

It's a very sensitive subject amongst GGG fans.
