Can't change vote and I picked dubouis by stoppage which was trolling. No chance can daniel win

Dubouis is a slow, plodding bum and will be easily outboxed on Saturday. Aj froze and hrgovic is not all that. A 38 year old usyk should still easily do a number on him

I voted Usyk by stoppage but maybe it goes 12 this time

I have not watched the first fight since it happened but thought Dubois boxed well despite losing almost every round. The canvas was wet from the rain so I think it may have made Usyk less effective with his footwork. I thought Dubois did well with his jab and did ok maintaining range and preventing Usyk from landing combinations.

In the second Fury fight I thought Usyk looked a little slower and less busy. Dubois has been on a good run and seems confident. I think Dubois will be a little better this time and give a respectable performance but still lose.

This will be the only wrinkle. Usyk is at the age where he is going to slow down some. He's truly elite but age is undefeated. I don't think he's going to slip to the point Dubois wins or even comes close to winning, I do think it makes the fight more competitive than the first. I selected Usyk by tko (again), I could see Usyk winning a UD this time.

It would be wild if Dubois ends proceedings with a KO1

Anyone else kind of just waiting for this fight to be over to see what happens next and how the division shakes out?

I mean it is an undisputed heavyweight fight with the two top heavyweights atm, but it just feels a bit like deja vu, that we have seen it before.

As much as I like Usyk, I'm hoping that Dubois makes it interesting and half hoping that he wins even though its not look that likely, but 3 to 1 odds are not bad at all for Dubois.

Im that case, Dubois will have a round to unload and win before becoming a lame duck

I've watched the Hrgovic and AJ fights over the last week. Hrgovic hit Dubois with plenty of right hands. The AJ fight was essentially over a minute in the first round when the first big punch from Dubois landed. Dubois doesn't move his head at all, Usyk won't just stand in the center of the ring with him to trade punches. He'll get tired again as the fight moves on into the later rounds.

Usyk will win Saturday. I don't see where or why this will be a different fight from the one 2 years ago. The only thing that may change the outcome is whether or not Usyk is losing his speed/reflexes due to age.

Correct, likely minus the body shot / low blow controversy, which is the only reason people have a muddled remembrance of it being close last time.

Sure, but we literally just saw him not that long ago in December and his speed/reflexes were fine. Compared to his cruiserweight run or his amateur prime, sure, they're diminished - but compared to when Usyk last fought Dubois? He's practically the same fighter, still.

A Dubois win would be good for the sport. The masses want hard hitting champions not technical masters.

    Yup.

I watched a few of Usyk's earlier CW fights recently, and he's noticeably slower.

His agility, speed, and overall athleticism were absolutely superb for a CW.

Yep, but there's a much larger gap between then and Dubois I than between Dubois I and Fury II / Dubois II.

Should be Usyk again unless he ages significantly over night.

But Dubois has more experience and more confidence now so I think we will see a better fight regardless.

Yeah, you're probably not wrong. I'm thinking of it as a sense on how Dubois could actually beat Usyk. And I'm fairly confident Usyk beats Dubois.

What I'm saying is that Dubois's best chance to beat Usyk is to do what he does best, be aggressive and go for Usyk's head from the first bell - like Chisora tried to do and it was fairly effective to an extent. Trying to box Uysk, as we've seen before will only go one way.
